The real deal not like the cheap immatations!!!
This is the real deal, I bought one that was cheaper even tho I'm sure this is now the same price last time I checked swear I paid 20 and now it's around ten anyways this is the real deal high carbon I'm sure we'll I have to use lubricants to stop rust so I'm assuming it's high carbon pretty sure it said ut was, I've used it loads it's the real deal the nut is metal doesn't cross thread like the last crqppu plastic one I had I'm so happy with this and have dug lots of holes, wouldn't advice it but I hit an old rotten log full pelt and it was fine but think it's probably stupid to do that though because of the time tension on the nut, I made a video to show how to have the crow positioned behind it whilst using shovel, because it shakes the shovel off the crow bar is flush to the bar betw en them, but after uwijhg lube today it almost seemed to automatically got to the crow being about a finger width apart after tightening but posted the video in case it was a fluke, basicly depending on where the position of the crow bar is behind it defines whether or not the shovel moved when using it trust me buy this you won't regret it!!!

Sturdy and solid
This was a good buy in my opinion, very solid bit of kit, I like the sharp edge of the shovel. Slightly smaller than I thought but it’s for metal detecting so only digging plugs with it which it’s suited well to. Used a few times and seems like a durable piece of kit.

A Sturdy tool
I bought this for metal detecting a particular stony beach , I use it folded out like a pick axe for loosening compacted stone then flip it over and scrape and hack the loose stone out of the hole, I have been surprised how strong the pick is and the spade for prizing larger rocks out of the clay . It collapses nicely to fit in my rucksack. I’ve used it for quite a few hours now and it’s showing no signs of wear after being used hard . I keep the moving parts and threads oiled because it is often covered in clay . Anyway I have bought another one for my misses and to pinch a section of handle to make mine longer . I hope this helps anyone thinking of getting one , I am a tradesman and value quality tools and this has impressed me

It's a nice bit of kit
Small enough to keep inconspicusly in the car through the winter ready for use.

Cheap, flaky paint
I bought this on an impulse thinking this is really cool. Day 1 when opening it the paint is already flaking off at the edges. My confidence in this is draining every time I put it together.

Ultimate survivalist tool
I run an explorer scout group in the UK. Currently stocking up for our upcoming camp...this featured on my list of stuff to get They'll love it and just what we need for some of the survivalist camping techniques we'll be learning Some of them have a flint and steel attachment...would have been nice if this one included it.

Fell at the first hurdle....
Had it for 2 years. Light use was fine (removing stuck tent pegs, sand castles) but first bit of actual resistance it ever met and it bent and split. Hit a stone and got under it to lever it out and well, the rest is in the pictures. Didn't expect the greatest shovel in the world for £25 but certainly didn't expect it to crumble at the first real challenge.
