Simply Wood Ceremony Wooden Garden Bench 4ft (2 Seater) - SALE!!!

The bench itself is lovely. It's an attractive shape, colour, and with the angled back is also comfortable to sit on. The wood has been treated well with preservative, and I'm sure that as long as we keep an eye on it it'll last for a good few years.It arrived well-packaged (although if I had any slight concern it would be the shrink-wrapped plastic that held everything together inside the box, and if anyone senior in the company is reading this maybe in future you could look at ways of reducing this?) and the minimal required assembly was very straightforward. Easy with one person, and a doodle with two.For us, a large part of any transaction is how good the customer service is. Nothing worse than facing an issue and finding that once the seller has your money they don't really care anymore.With this bench there was a slight hiccup with delivery (we live in a very rural setting and sometimes couriers struggle to find us). I contacted the seller and they responded almost immediately. A lovely man called Ian then told us what the problem had been, contacted the courier on our behalf, and kept in close contact with us right up until the bench was delivered a day or two later.It's interactions like this that let you know you're dealing with a company who care about their reputation and the customer's experience.So, I'd definitely recommend the bench to anyone looking for something comfortable and durable at a very good price. And added to that, I'd feel very, very happy buying anything from this company due to the excellent level of customer care they demonstrated.

Came well packaged and mostly pre-assembled, just bolt or screw the main components together. Very solid quality wood with good machining so should last decades. Added a good dose of clear/waxed wood waterproofing on top of an already excellent finish and then all set for a beer! Very comfortable seat design with just the right curves and support in the right places for my ageing back without resorting to cushions, and wide enough arm rests to put the beer jug on. Excellent value and highly recommended.

I am soooo delighted with this purchase.I had thought from the picture that it looked more comfortable than the average bench, and I was right. Truthfully the most comfortable bench I’ve ever sat on!The gentle curve of the seat and the angle of the backrest are perfect - for both myself and my 6’ husband.We can easily sit next to each other with ample room and the armrests having a flat surface to rest a cuppa on is one of the features that attracted me to it and it does not disappoint :)This is a beautifully designed, skilfully and sturdily made bench and was so easy to put together, took my husband and I around 15 minutes.

Yes this bench has a few problems. The design could be improved, the finishing could be better, and it could be made from a better quality timber. BUT given the cost of materials used, the cost of labour to make it, the cost of packaging and delivery to get it to you. It's a real BARGAIN!A perfectly sturdy and useable garden bench, and with just a little bit of at home sanding down plus a decent coat of preservative, it should last for years.
