The package I ordered had 16, but Amazon groups these answers together so I'm not sure which item you are going to be looking at... On the page I ordered from there is a small black oval just to the left of the title that says "16 pack".

Q: is the natural flavor is vegan or from animal source?

I'm not real familiar with vegan food, but my educated guess would be NOT animal. If it were it would probably say "natural animal flavor." But unless someone out there who is familiar with vegan food and can confirm what I believe, I recommend you go online to French's Food Company and ask them. They are located in Springfield, Mo. I'm sure they would welcome your inquiry.
