Powerful for the Price
I'll start off by saying this card devours. I was uncertain about its performance at first; after all, customer reviews typically have that "oh this is merely a mid upper tier card." Well, upper mid tier is a bad description, this is a high tier card, hands down. It's not a low performing card, a budget card (because if you're on a budget you're not shelling out almost $200 for a piece of hardware), it's simply a high performance video card. As far as needing to meet the challenges of a gaming rig, it does that. All games have performed flawlessly, all can be done at max settings. Only Far Cry 3 cannot be played on "optimum settings."Granted upon buying the 660, the rest of the rig I built was backed up with other high end hardware, so make sure you do the same. If so, you'll get a lot of potential and I've seen NO performance drags. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone. It may have challenges as the new era of game graphic demands is upon us, but for the last generation of a few years in PC gaming it's quite a champion.Beautiful design, resolute power, well worth the money.

Great performer and value
Bought this to replace a Radeon HD 6670 1GB (GDDR5) that was solid, but struggled with newer games when running in 1080p. I chose this particular card because it was going into a Dell XPS 8300, which is a mid-sized case, and my budget was limited so I didn't want to get a new PSU if possible. It fit snugly in the case and the 460w Dell OEM PSU runs it just fine. The GeForce Experience software is great! It analyzed the games installed on my system and automatically selected the best settings for them, in almost all cases choosing settings higher than I thought I would have chosen. Every game has run flawlessly so far, with Very High or Ultra/Extreme settings @1080p.Some of the games I play (for reference):Batman Arkham City & OriginsSleeping DogsSkyrimMax Payne 3DishonoredSaints Row the ThirdBattlefield 3NBA 2K12The Witcher 1 & 2Left4Dead 2Crysis 2Temps are good: 31-33 idle, 55-68 under heavy load. I know that other fan designs are supposed to run cooler, but I haven't had any issues with heat and I like the fact that the blower fan design removes hot air out the back of the case. I haven't tried to overclock it yet (something that was MANDATORY on my 6670 to get it to run 1080p w/ High settings) because so far every game I have thrown at it has run great. Overall, I've been very impressed and would definitely recommend this card!PC Specs: Core i7 2600, 12GB DDR3 1333Mhz, 460w PSU

Great card
I got this card for my Alienware X51 since it came with a GT 640 1gb GDDR5(its the OEM version, not available for purchase). And although the GT OEM version worked with every game I tried to play, it didn't work well with PhysX and you could tell the graphics were lack luster. So I grabbed this 660, since it only puts out 140w max, and the x51(with 330w EXTERNAL BRICK, NOT INTERNAL FELLAS) can handle a card that uses up to 150w. Yes its officiall that it can handle that, no my psu won't blow out, its external, not internal and gthere's a huge difference. Hence why x51's now put 670's in their systems with the new motherboards and haswells. Anyway, I'm more than happy with this 660. It can run everything at max settings with my i7 3770, not that I max out settings, I tend to put my graphic intensive games on medium especially since the X51's small case holds in a lot of heat. But even in such a small case, with MSI or EVGA precision X programs to run my fans custom, it only gets as hot as 77 degree's C. But if you're going to use this, GET ONE OF THE TWO PROGRAMS. Else the card won't clock up its fans by itself. Great card, great price now that its $200. When I got it, it was almost $300 lol. The release of 700 series bumped all the prices down. But for $200ish, there's nothing that can beat this in that price range. Kepler Tech, Anti aliasing, its a beast for a mid range card. I wouldn't even spend the extra money on a TI as its not much faster, I think 3-5% increase? Anyway, regardless of what kind of gaming rig you have(of course if yuo have the right stuff to begin with) GET THIS CARD. It's awesome.

A tope de carga hace un ruido eléctrico infernal. Hay opciones mejores para actualizar tu gráfica sin tantos quebraderos de cabeza.

Good Card for a Mid-Range System
Unless your well off, there is no better value than the GTX 660. I spent a couple hours researching and overall, this card is the best value. If you get this on sale, even better. The "50" series (550,650,750 and so on are GeForces economy cards) are good and I used to stick with these in general. And they're still good if you have a really tight budget. But I think the 660 will last about 5 years (like my last card, the 550 ti) and for the extra $80 the performance is well worth it.I use my PC for Gaming generally, but I also do a lot of 3D work (3DS Max, zBrush, etc), and Photoshop. I'm pretty current with software and this card is good enough for everything that I need it for.Hope this helped. And if anything, take the cost of the card and divide it by 5, and that is the cost per year you'd be putting into your PC. Pretty affordable in that regard.Amazon did a good job on deliver as always. Ordered on Friday and got it on Tuesday.

Fantastic Graphics Card
I originally bought this card to replace an ATI RADEON HD 5450 graphics card that Dell(my first mistake was getting a computer from Dell) had put in the computer. I would like to note here that the ATI RADEON HD 5450 could not even play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the lowest settings at 800x600 resolution without dropping to around 5 FPS. Anyway, the GeForce GTX 660 has not given me any problems. It is a very quiet card, runs majority of games at max resolution without any issues, and it has a variety of ports on it. I'd definitely recommend this card as you will be very happy with the results. This card does require extra power from your power supply, so make sure that your power supply has the correct power source. If I recall, I believe it is a 6-pin power source. This card also works on PCI Express 2.0 and PCI Express 3.0.

Strong card but it overheats on occasion
The product works well, and is a good price, but I am having rare stability issues possibly due to the overclocking. After using it for a month, I've twice had the card stop sending signal to my screen after gaming. The card wakes up after 5-10 minutes, implying its overheating.I would return the card, but I've thrown out the box as I had too much confidence that the card was good. I still give it 3 stars because the quality is very high when the card is working, which is most of the time.
