Best in this budget
I bought it for ₹8k and I feel it is the best portrait prime lense at this budget. If you are handy in manual focus, its best budget friendly lense for you. Autofocus is not that good, you must have to be skilled on manual focus, and its very easy.

Value for money
The quality is actually impressive. I didn't expect it to be so good. The build quality is better than expected. The AF is little slow and you might want to use a smaller aperture with a high shutter speed to get the best results. It works best in ideal lighting and settings.

Decent for the price
Budget 50mm lens with autofocus, decent picture quality. But the auto focus sucks in low light especially during night.

One word awesome!
Initially the camera was throwing some error codes and I was angry with myself for choosing a third party lens. I later switched to Aperture mode and made some tweaks in the ISO settings. I must say that I am pretty much impressed with its performance so far. Very bright and nice portraits but not saying the quality of image and AF will beat Nikon lenses but at this price this is a gem.

Best lens in its price range
For this price, this is the best there is, people complain it of being slow in autofocus, but I find the autofocus fast enough, picture is great. It is great lens for new photographers, i will recommend it, and thanx to yongnou for such affordable lens. Will review further after some more use. Re:reviev- photo quality is alright, not very sharp, autofocus is not accurate in low light, but its good for new comers or as casual hobby, or to learn about lenses.

First Impressions With Nikon D5600
So, got the YONGNUO 50mm 1.8FN. Honestly, Not bad, infact good. Think of the Nikon 50mm. You should spend 12k for that. Considering that you only spend half the money its totally worth it. I use the 70-300mm Nikon also, and compared to it, I am getting 85-90% of what the Nikon has to offer with the Yongnuo lens. So let's do the math here, you spend 50% money for the cheaper one which offers 85% result of the original. Definitely, I would recommend this to anyone who is an amateur photographer or even to a professional. The Yongnuo lens feels good, the quality certainly is not bad, light weight and auto focus is also on the better side, maybe a little delay, yea. But I wouldn't mind it. Hope this review helps some bunch of photo heads. Thank You.
