What a great addition to any design library! All of the homes featured in this book are attainable, unique homes where REAL families live. I feel like many times, design books feature homes that are super expensive, and while beautiful, are not a reality for most of us. The homes in this book look have distinct personalities that reflect the homeowners, but feel warm and inviting and ATTAINABLE.The author points out several of the interesting and fun details in each space and tells the reader how to incorporate these ideas into your own home. The layout is user-friendly and there are tons of pictures of each room, which really helps you to "see" each space.

The book is a quick read. I would only recommend it if you don't have Pinterest or internet because there aren't any fresh ideas listed in the book.

All the reviews gave this book and the author great reviews. I found it to be ok...nothing to write home about.

Not bad for the price

White, grey, brown, beige.......that's about all you will get. Modern/Contemporary. Boring. The blurry water color chapter heading pages are annoying. I returned the book.
