Q: Has anyone found this to overheat at all?

Yes. Both of my bulbs overheated and caused the wires to come loose. My husband was able to fix it, but I'm sure it will eventually happen again.

Q: Where can I buy this model with just one set? I do not need two sets.

Q: Will these use lightbulbs with higher watts?

Yes, it is supported, we use the standard E27 lamp holder, as long as your bulb can be installed, it is supported
