Well worth the cost. I even saved for mine!
This is a generational stove. Don’t waste money on anything less.

Used for hunting
Worked great in our hunting tent. Light to haul, small footprint, easy to use. Highly recommend. Good heat output.

Overall high quality but air gap issue causes safety issue and burns down your wood quicker
Pros: Size, ease of setup and breakdown, and overall good construction. I've had it for years and it is durable and works well with my white duck canvas tent that has chimney vent hole.Cons: The design of the product leaves too big of an air gap along the door, so even if you try to block out all air-flow, the fire runs hot and leads to safety issues (see photo of how red hot my chimney gets each time i run it). The air inlet is fully closed, but you can see the gap along the door where the air continues to get in. In addition to the safety issue the red hot rear of stove and chimney, it burns hotter and quicker. My main use case for this was wanting to have prolonged, slow-burning woodstove heat overnight in my tent in snowy conditions. Due to the air gap, I'm having to get up two additional times each night to build a new fire.

exceeded expectations
Felt compelled to leave a review because this stove is so good. Bought the stove to use in my sauna. Just installed it, bought a section of triple walled stove pipe to go through the roof. This thing does not have a gasket on the door but it doesn't need it, the burn is really easy to control w/ the air intake and damper in the pipe. The controlled burn is needed so things don't overheat which can happen, this thing can start glowing, so far I have not had any warping of the metal being careful its not too hot. Looks really good in the sauna, stainless steel is high quality, pipe sections are also stainless and are super sturdy. Couldn't be happier.

Good stove, poor service.
I'm taking a star or so, I've had a large woodlander for a couple years, and it has done well. Keeps my 8x20 airstream comfy up here in Alaska. However, over time the grate kinda warped, not a huge deal, things break down. Unfortunately, they don't ship to Alaska, so much for 'the wildest places imaginable'.Be better winnerwell, or at least more truthful in your advertising.

Product is awesome/ Third party shipper was great.
I purchased the Woodlander Stove about a month ago in excitement for a 9 day deer hunting trip. This thing is awesome and it works perfectly. Heats my 10X14 Kodiak Canvas Flexbow tent so well I can’t close the windows when it is stoked up. The night time temps on this trip ranged from 3 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Highs in the lower 40’s. Worked better than I expected. I placed a second order once I was home from the trip. (wanted additional stove pipe pieces). I received a call from Mike at Dwell Outdoor Products/ Springbar Tents. He explained to me that one of the parts I ordered did not look correct to him according to my past order. I called him back and he shipped the correct parts. I have not had customer service like this in a long time. Thanks Mike! (Sorry for not buying the Springbar tent from you guys, I bought the tent before the Stove). I have recommended this product to a few friends and I know they will be happy with it. Thanks again Mike!!!!

Well constructed
This is very well constructed. Stainless steel of significant thickness. It's welded. This is for car camping, an outfitter base camp, or a camp transported using pack animals. It's 30 pounds and you don't want to take a long hike with it. There is a titanium folding model for those who wish to hike in.Mine was purchased to stay with a closet-full of long-term-storage emergency food, along with a felling axe, a pruning saw, and a lighter. I do have an off-grid vacation property and will try it out there sometime.

Nice stove, but needs insulation around the door
I use this stove in a 20x40 studio and it works great. My only issue is that there is no insulation around the door so it still gets a lot of air into the stove which eats the wood faster. I rather be in complete control of the air flow. Other then that this stove is nice and works very well. The gap between the door and stove is an easy fix too, but I feel that at the price I should not have to go through such trouble. All in all I would definately recomend this stove.
