My husband bought this awhile back when he was building a larger desk for his workstation at home. The company had bought him larger, curved monitors which were too wide for the old desk so he had no choice but to upgrade. He loves having this as it's so easy to access for phone charging or anything else he needs to plug in that won't work in the docking station he has from work. The USB ports work great and I have used outlets when he's been off to charge my laptop since we had a plug go out. The size is perfect and unless you know where it is, it's hard to see. He used a dark stain so this blended in well. So if you are looking at building your own work desk, you can't miss with this one, He also bought the drill attachement from Amazon to make the hole this fits in.

There are many products just like this, but I bought this one because of the saucy wordplay they used in the graphics. I love it! It works just how I expected and looks exactly how I hoped it would. I can charge my work laptop, my phone, my controller, anything I need and keep it all within easy reach. Installing took 2 minutes. I'm not exactly the first person I would trust with power tools, but it was simple. I could only get my hands on 3 1/4 inch hole saw, but there's enough leeway that I could get away with it. I expect if you only had a 3-inch, that would work too. The ring on the bottom tightens to hold the whole thing firmly in place so it doesn't wiggle or turn. All in all, it looks slick and has held up under 2+ months of daily use. This was my first project and I'm so proud of it!

I was building a custom gaming table for my sons for their computers and decided to have an extra flush mount power outlet up top. This worked out perfect and looks very nice in the cherry wood. Easy to mount and hook up, fits snug and all worked out great. I you are looking to flush this into a counter or table, look no furthur, this worked out great. Highly recommend.

Good product, would have been five stars but if you try and plug two usb iPhone cords at the same time the power just isn’t there to charge both.

I recently bought an iMovr standing desk, which I love. When configuring the desk, I considered adding a grommet outlet, but that would have added on an extra $100. So, I went looking on Amazon and, after looking at several grommets, decided to purchase this one. So far, so good. It was a hell of a lot less than $100, and it powers a desk lamp and charges my cellphone, travel charger, Kindle, etc. Recommended.

Made a desk out of a door for my son and used this outlet where the doorknob hole was. Perfect use! Now my son can plung in his monitor and laptop and not have to fight for extra slots in the outlet of his dorm room .

This fits the IKEA MICKE Desk perfectly. Weirdly enough the desk has a different sized hole than most so finding one that fits it well worth it. The screw on clamp was trickly to screw on with the desk assembled but worked out fine.

I built a custom table and bought a few of these. Very easy to install and they work great. No issues after months of use.
