釣ってきた魚を捌くのに購入しました。 タイの骨も問題なく切れました。 使い勝手もいいです。 切れ味がいいので、刃が指にトンっと当たっただけでキレてしまうので注意して下さい。

取手も持ちやすく、使いやすいものでした。かなり活躍しています。 今度は刺身包丁も購入を検討しています。

今まで使っていた4寸半の出刃包丁では鯛の頭を割るときに少し苦労していましたが、このくらいの出刃では綺麗かつ楽に兜割ができた。

ブリも捌ける良いサイズ。切れ味も良い。

はじめ研ぐ必要がありました。その後は普通に使えてます。

切りやすい、安い、丈夫な完璧な包丁

たまに行くつりで大きなカンパチを釣り上げてしまいさばくために購入。今まで三徳包丁でさばいていたが出刃包丁のさばきやすさに驚き、早く購入すれば良かったと思いました。他のものを持っていないので比較はできず、耐久性も未知数ですが、少なくとも最初の切れ味はよく、今のところ刃こぼれも見られません。

well made and sharp out of the packet...does what is expected 5 stars

Overall this is actually a very impressive deba. I'm a bit shocked at how impressive it is actually. All my knives are high end japanese knives and this one would be considered the least of these, but it is at par with most (if not all) of my other knives quality level. The knife arrived very quickly....about a week or so and it was expected to be a few weeks. Why I left one star short of a perfect score has to do with the transaction and not the product. It's bad enough that it cost $22 for shipping....which I was ok with when I purchased the knife; but, when the delivery guy came to my door I owed another $24 for duty fees which I was not expecting at all. So, for a $77 knife, I paid $46 to get it here. $123 total and 40% of it was delivery. I'm not complaining about the $123 as it's really inexpensive for even a mediocre knife....its the surprise of the extra expense and cost ratio.
