This grew eally well in zone 6. I had a lot of them in end of Sep and begining of October

Not working, waste of money.
Suppose to be 20 seeds, only come 19, and I did everything according the instruction, only one seed germinated after 4 weeks planting. Not sure how it works for others. At least they are not consistent. If you want to bet on it, go ahead. Otherwise, stay away from this.

Great seeds
I've grown before yrs ago, I remember them being hard to germinate, these sprouted in less than a week and have taken over the top of my grow house. Very prolific producer too.

I believe alot of the people leaving 1 star reviews of these seeds may not be germinating the seeds correctly. Luffa is notoriously difficult to germinate. You can't just plant and hope for the best. A seeding pad is a must. What works for me is I wrap the seeds in a damp paper towel and seal in a ziplock bag. I then place the ziplock bag on a seeding pad with a bowl on top of it. This provides a moist, warm environment that will encourage germination. After a few days, you will start to see the first shoots from the seeds. As soon as you see a shoot, plant immediately in pots. I keep the pots on the seeding pad until the shoots emerge from the soil. At that point in time, as long as the pots are in a warm environment, the seeding pad is no longer required. Note that Luffa is also finiky around transplant. Its best to use the type of pots that decompose (such as cardboard) so that when you transplant outdoors, you just plant the pot the luffa is in. Good luck and happy luffa growing.

I received 23 seeds and 18 of them germinated. After growing them inside until the frost was over I ended up with 12 which I planted outside in large pots. (The ones I lost inside were due to my cats chewing on the leaves). They're all growing well and I have about 17 loofas growing right now! Honestly I didn't know if any would grow, so I'm pleasantly surprised.
