LIGHTAILING Light Set for (Ship in a Bottle) Building Blocks Model - Led Light kit Compatible with Lego 21313(NOT Included The Model)

You have to, you need to and you want to get this as a follow-up to the Ship in a Bottle set. Now I installed the lights, the ship feels very empty without the light on even during daytime. So I turn it on every time I am standing next to my ship and just stare at it LOL. It is a fun install and does have some difficulty to it because you are working.backward especially on a set with many many 1x2 and 1x1 plates stacked together to form a bigger piece. But not too difficult overall. The instruction booklet can do some revamping on the photo quality and perhaps add a few extra steps to address how does the wire runs- which I guessed and guessed right. All in all, I love it and I will look for other lighting add-ons from this seller in the future!

Like many other reviews said, this product is very touchy and requires a steady hand to install correctly. The instructions were vague at times, but with common sense and some critical thinking skills it was put together easy enough.Pros:-looks beautiful and really completes the ship in a bottle Imo.-loved how the lights are blue that illuminate the waterCons:-requires steady hands to put togetherOverall I am more then pleased with this product and look forward to purchasing more lightailing sets in the future!

This was absolutely beautiful when complete. I will say its a little difficult getting the pieces just right and I am not sure if it would be easier to do it while you are building the kit or after. I love how it looks and I am so happy as this is my first lighting kit I have done. I will definitely be getting more.

What can I say...it really looks great...BUT...unless you've got small hands and 2 to 3 more hours of time I would pass on this purchase. The direction booklet was based on photos and not the normal Lego format or grid. Following them was not easy. You will find yourself guessing at times but if you've invested you must press on. Winding the wire around the sails is by far and away the most difficult task. Unfortunatley that step comes early in the long road to completion. If I was to give any advice I would simply decide up front if you want the lights or not.

This is a very fun addition to the normal LEGO set. I think it adds a lot of character to the final product. Installing was pretty easy, just be careful and don’t pull too hard on any of the pieces. The lights have worked perfectly since I bought them a little more than a month ago. I turn them on at least once a day and sometimes I will leave the lights on for a couple hours. Awesome product!

This is the second set of lights I ordered, but only because my grandson accidentally broke something. The ship is in a Plexiglas box and the lights add some mystic to the ship. My grandson loves it.

Can't complain. It is the best investment for my Lego Kit. It was kind of scary to disassemble the ship in a bottle, but the instructions were quite clear. I would have liked the pictures to be a litttle bigger, or at least for them to have the instructions as a pdf on their website were one could zoom on some details. Nevertheless, they were quite good.Love how the kit looks like now

The directions are just a bunch of small photos of the steps taken to install this. It can be unclear at first but I was able to quickly see what I needed to do. I installed this while building the set because a lot of reviewers had said it was a pain to go back on a completed project. The only frustrating part is wrapping the wires around the masts of the ship. It worked out fine and when I was finished it looked great. Unfortunately after about 15-20min with the lights on the yellow lights started to flicker and then just turned off completely. The next day they worked again when turned on so it might just be leaving them on for any real length of time can cause the yellow lights (the blue ones always worked great) to falter.I love the whole concept of this though. I definitely would love more ways to light up LEGO kits because it really just has an amazing effect on the entire set.
