what is the difference between the red and yellow

They are color coded. Red is the smallest size from 3months to 4 year, yellow is for advanced swimming lessons where you will have full range of motion with the arms also. Red is for creating confidence in the water and start practicing the leg movements.

Would this fit in a bath tub?

Yes it will fit most standard tubs

Our girl has CP and we want something big enough to take her in the pool, but let her have as much freedom as possible. She's 37lbs and 37in.
