The royal blue is an vibrant colour but has a subtle tone. It gives the panel a sleeky sheen style and drapes eloquently. The panel material has a smooth texture and blocks the light out. However, I do not think any curtain can truly be given the term "blackout" because I literally would be expecting the room to be absolutely pitch black. The panels do considerally dims and blocks out natural daylight from the window. The room does hevaily become a darkened room. The only time light can emit through if you have gap of the daylight not covered by the panel. I think when you are making purchases then the term value for money becomes a subjective definition because your needs define the meaning of the word. For me - my critictism is the price. It feels slightly extravagant to be purchasing a polyester product when I could be getting cotton material elsewhere for that price. However the productivity of the product is what won me over as it does block the light out that I ended up buying the second panel in order to cover the gaps where light was emitting through. I cannot confirm or deny the claims if it is thermal insulated material. Recommended tips: 1) I also purchased curtain extension pole that you can place between gap of walls. It is so convenient to do as it means no drilling or screwing and to my surprise the pole is very sturdy and stable. The one I purchased has a metal pole with white plastic caps on the side. The only criticism I have is what plastic caps make the metal pole look tacky. This will help the panel curtain to open and close smoothly with no pressure of pulling the material. 3) hand the curtain extension pole few centimetres above the window frame or better still closer to the ceiling wall as it will help to increase the darkness in the room.

Quality is good enough, but they are thin polyester and do let a bit of light through. Still, it was cheaper buying a new curtain than to get our old one dry-cleaned, so we are happy enough. This curtain can be washed and tumble-dried according to the label. We got dark grey and it is almost black in colour - a bit darker than I was expecting. They will do the job yo keep the draft out at our front door, but if you are wanting curtains that look expensive then these are probably not for you.

Nice colour does help stop the draught and looks good. Im not sure about the thermal lined as doesn't really feel thick but i think it helps a little to retain heat

Very nice curtain panels. Not the first set I have bought but the difference is these are single panels but the previous ones were sold as a pair and are different quality. These are quite thin but are blackout.

Colour as expected and looks tidy. Bought to put over a wee porch door from the kitchen. On receiving, was slightly surprised at how light and thin it was for "thermal". Other thermal curtains i've bought had substantially more "heft" to them. Stepping behind the curtain, it IS noticeably colder in the porch compared to the kitchen BUT not as substantially so as I would like. Light enough for a tension pole (no room to have a screwed in one there) but as a result it just takes the "bite" off the air, rather than truly blocking all drafts. Acceptable for the on sale price, but hlad it wasnt full price. It will likely be replaced in the future with something more effective.

This curtain, how did I not know about it?!! My home is so much warmer and cosier since putting it in place. My cat flap was letting cold air in so that part of the flat was constantly cold but this has solved the problem. Cat still able to get in/out but the cold air stays out. Very pleased with this. It also blocks the neighbour's high beam lights, hung easily, excellent value. Highly recommend 👌

Tjock kvalitet så dämpar även ljud. Den är bred så täcker hela dörren och täcker en bit vid varje sida.
