I had some of this brands pastel colours and I wasn’t overly impressed but I saw a pencil comparison for these pencils on you tube which compared well with other high grade pencils and they were so cheap I thought I’d give them a try. 36 pencils which work well, have lovely colours which really suits portrait art and shades you don’t always see in other collections. When swatching you can feel how good they are and they don’t crumble. More importantly they don’t easily break when pressed to get more depth of colour and they sharpen to a really good point with my 15p sharpener. Would they replace my Polychromos- probably not but if you don’t have the budget for the high end ones these work really well.

pretty good colouring pencils for a very reasonable price! however, it's a bit misleading to call them "skin tone" - if you're planning on drawing anyone who isn't white, i'd look elsewhere. there aren't any colours that suit a dark skin tone, with three muddy browns and FIVE variants on red.

An excellent selection of colours, which lay down well. The pigmentation is good and they blend well. The pencils are soft cored, may need sharpening more frequently, but they are good value, considering that the set enables a wide range of skin tones to be coloured. The tutorial included is a nice bonus, but it would also be great to see suggestions for pencils to colour black or brown skin tones.

These are ok but I don’t find them easy to blend. The colours are really good for people with a wide range of skin tones. They feel nice quality and are durable but I’m not sure I’d choose this brand again.
