I recently picked up the BILT HARD 135A 3-in-1 IGBT Inverter Welder, and I have to say, I've been quite pleased with it overall. Right out of the box, it was straightforward to set up. I appreciated how clear the instructions were, making it easy to get started. I've used it for both MIG and stick welding, and it has performed well in both applications. The arc stability is impressive, and I was surprised at how easily it handled various thicknesses of metal. The 135 amps provide quite a bit of power, so it's great for home projects without feeling underpowered. One feature I really like is the portability. It’s relatively lightweight, and I can easily move it around my garage or take it to different job sites. This flexibility has been a game-changer for my projects. On the downside, I did notice that the duty cycle could be a bit limiting if you're working on long welding tasks, but that’s pretty standard for machines in this price range. Just plan breaks into your work, and you should be fine. All in all, the BILT HARD 135A is a solid welder for anyone looking to tackle DIY projects or light professional work. I’d recommend it to both beginners and those with a bit more experience. It gives you good quality without breaking the bank.

appearance, new as described, portability, yes ease of use seems not difficult, compatibility, awesome I have never bought or used any welders in my life. after inspection the quality for price can't beat it I will practice welding car exhausts with this item. very impressed. Hopefully within the next week all make some time to set up and use.. by for now. thank you love and light Charles

I used this for the first time and it really exceeded my expectations. Im just learning the ropes of welding but this made everything easy. Feeding the wire through the eye was about the hardest part. After that, all controls were easy to operate and navigate. The helmet works flawlessly. I was a little worried upon opening the box bc some of the items looked as if they may of been opened before and put back, like I possibly received a returned item. I dont believe that was the case bc nothing looked used. I would suggest maybe packing it in the box a little more securely. But so far, so good. Really liking it.

Great for the price, does what I needed it for. Very light and compact. Wide range of settings and accessories. This is not by any means an industrial strength welder but decent for random home use

I went for a number of years without a welder at home but I have had 3 welding repair jobs come up in the last several months that pushed into buying the BILT HARD 135A 3-in-1 IGBT Inverter Welder. The last mig welder I had was a Hobart Handler 110 volt with gas shielding that I sold 20 years ago because I could do welding at work if I needed to. The Bilt Hard beats that old Hobart hands down because the synergistic control function balances wire speed, voltage and amperage for optimum welding. Using the Hobart I was always having to cut the wire because it would get to long or two short until I adjusted the welder for the material I was running. The gloves that came with the welder are very comfortable but are a little stiff which made it hard for me to depress the trigger. The welding helmet worked well. Assembly was a little painful because of the lack of instructions. The combo welding hammer / Wire brush is trash. Just plan on buying a real wire brush and a chipping hammer. Excellent price.

So far, this package has been great. Everything seems to be of good quality, great value for the price, easy to adjust and setup, perfect size, light weight. Perfect for small DIY at home jobs.

I have used this welder twice and it seems to work just fine. My 15 amp 120v circuit is frustrating to deal with. I would only recommend if you have 20 amp service available. At 15 amps the breaker will trip after of 4 or 5 seconds of welding, but if you pulse manually on the trigger it does lay decent welds to this beginner's eye. I am a complete novice, but it came with everything except an angle grinder to grind out my inexperience. Mower deck is fixed/repaired/good enough, and for way less than buying a deck would cost. Flux-core MIG really is magic, like laying metal hot glue.
