I would not expect this to stop a thief if your bike is not in sight, but for what I bought it, keeping the bike safe while on sight at café/beer stops, it is great. Super light, easy to carry in a jersey pocket or saddle bag, very simple setup and firm. If you're going to lock more than one bike together, I would recommend getting the longer model. I wish I had.

I tried another lock before I settled on this one. Does exactly what I want and very easy to carry. Seems very secure as well.

The lock combo failed on it. I couldn’t detach it from my bike, so I went online and found I could easily cut through the “Kevlar” with tin snips! Good for looks, but not to protect a $2k+ bike.

It's probably not the most secure, but lightest and easiest to carry, for sure.

Stored unlatched and the combination changed as I could not depress the button to lock. Used just a few times. I like the lightweight and ease of use. The combination pins were so loose it made it difficult to keep one on the correct number while you turned the next one. The bright color was nice to serve as a deterrent.

I got the 18 inch size. Well built and super easy to lock and unlock. I use it for quick trips to my local YMCA in the morning. Pretty safe area so I don’t need my 3 pound unbolt lock. This is version 2 that has the improved lock and black strip on the end of the strap. Very easy to stow away in my high vis vest zipper pocket. Overall a great product.

We've been using these for years and love them. They're so compact and light, it's no trouble to bring them on any ride where you think you might want to stop for a coffee, snack, or restroom break. The best lock is the one you have with you, and this one is so easy to carry, you'll always have it on hand. Fits in a jersey pocket, small bag, or you can wrap it around your seat pack/tool roll.

The lock came with no instructions for some reason except for how to set the combination. I was excited to try this out on my first coffee shop ride. I figured it would be good enough to secure my bike while I went inside to order my coffee. I ended up not using it because there nothing close enough to lock my bike on to . Otto lock sends two rubber keepers that are to be used to hook the lock to your frame for riding . Somewhere on my ride home from the coffee shop it fell off and I lost it . I spent an hour and a half back tracking my ride but never found it. Sad that I just lost $30 some dollars because of a very poor design on how to secure it to your bicycle. If I had to do it over again I would have at least put my name and phone number on the lock . I contacted Ottolock and they were unwilling to replace this item. I would not recommend this product to a friend.

einfaches Handling, sehr leicht - das perfekte Fahrradschloss

Generell finde ich bisher dieses Schloss toll. Es scheint wirklich vor Diebstahl zu schützen. Es ist leicht, klein und handlich. Was mich auch zur Kaufentscheidung gebracht hat. Allerdings verstehe ich nicht, dass das schönere, schwarze Modell gleich mehr als 20€ teuer ist. Hmm.
