After many years of use from my soft-sided luggage I bought a new set of shiny hard-sided models. I knew immediately that I needed clear covers to protect them while keeping the exterior visible. At the same time, I bought a set for my aging soft-sided bags as well. After 4 long-haul and 6 short-haul flights, the covers are showing some wear. But the suitcases are near-perfectly preserved. The covers take the scuffs and scrapes, and your bag still looks clean and new when you get to your destination. Maybe that doesn't matter to you. Fine, don't buy covers for your bags. But if you like to look after your stuff, these are a great choice.

Recently got the Samsonite Omni PC hard shell luggage set in the pink color & wanted to get protectors so it doesn’t get all scuffed up when I check it. My first attempt with another brand didn’t fit - or rather, the straps for the 28” wouldn’t reach around to secure. I returned that set & got these in the 20”, 24” & 30” and they all fit great. My biggest piece is a 28” so I guess the trick is one size up for that. The Velcro on these seem good & the plastic is nice and thick. Haven’t used them yet but I’m very hopeful!

The fit is not accurate. the 28 inch had to be used on the 24 inch luggage but was too large at the bottom causing the wheels on the luggage to be damage due to the pull. Be aware they also wrinkle .

Truth: Luggage handlers don’t have the time or inclination to care about your bags. Sad, but your suitcase’s cosmetics are no concern of theirs these days. If you are like me, you are disturbed about your luggage being thrown around, crammed into too-tight spaces, dropped, and otherwise abused. Though I see both sides of things, for what airline tickets cost now, you would think they could take better care of your stuff! I recently purchased a Bagsmart carry-on but knew I would likely have to check it on smaller European commuter flights. So I bought this 20 Inch Transparent Luggage Protector hoping it would save my lovely new bag from some of the inevitable scuffing, dirt, and dings routinely accompanying the checked baggage “experience “. Well, to my utter astonishment. I completed 3 flights where I carried my bag and 3 where I checked my bag, in and out of several Ubers’ trunks and hotel baggage storage rooms with absolutely NO cosmetic damage to my new carry-on bag! None! The vinyl on this protector is thicker than a few others I looked at prior to purchasing. Get this one. You won’t regret it. The Velcro fastener held firm and there were no rips in the protective cover after 3 weeks of travel. The photos show just some of the scratches and dirt that would have been on my new suitcase had I not had this protector in place. No trouble with airline balking at using it. I am totally happy I purchased this item and highly recommend it. Update: After 4 more flight gets, still not a scuff or dirt mark, or scratch or n my bag. GET THIS!!!

I was today years old when I realized there was a way to mitigate travel damage to your suitcase. These are perfectly sized, crystal clear, easy to apply and very strong. Keeps suitcase clean and nice. Smart purchase!

I would have not purchased if it was only for one cover. It came on time but I needed 2 as indicated in the pictures. The price is not reasonable for 1 cover. Yet, quality is good.

I bought this to protect my new luggage and keep it looking new for as long as possible. It didn't even make it ONE FLIGHT. It didn't even stay on my bag, it's shredded remains came after the bag on the luggage carousel by itself. It was torn in multiple places, almost like you'd have to TRY to make it perform so poorly. It went straight in the trash because I didn't have anywhere to return it for a refund while on my trip. What a disappointment.
