Crucial's website has a useful tool where you can enter your model number and it'll show you everything they have that's compatible with your system. I recommend using it if you are not sure of the type you need. I used their tool. It said this was the ram for my system so I came back here and purchased it. I opened my laptop, installed the additional ram, turned it back on, and that was all I needed to do. Everything just worked and the performance increase is quite noticeable - for a relatively cheap upgrade. My laptop is the Asus FX505DY FWIW.

I recently purchased a laptop with the intention of upgrading its Ram to 16gb from 8gb. I had a look around to find an affordable DDR4 SODIM and struggled before checking Amazon Warehouse Deals. This was a returned item with some VERY minor imperfections. Managed to knock a chunk off the price for a small scratch on the label...Something I’ll likely never see again! Very easy to install in my laptop. Booted up and all showing correctly in CPUZ. Ran some tests to ensure no faults or errors and happy to say it was like new! Very happy with this purchase. I have a 8gb laptop and I brought this ram stick to be able to play more intensive triple AAA games that would need more the 8gb. And this ram is was more then enough. The 2666mhz was defiantly fast enough to keep up with most demanding games. Also it took me like 15 minutes to install the RAM is and most of it is screwing and unscrewing the laptop. So overall I would suggest this RAM stock to anyone and everyone who wants extra RAM for any specific reason. At a reasonable price

works with Asus PN50 4300U barebone. Only bought 1 stick of 8G. For gaming, maybe preferable to have another stick of 8G. For general use, 8G is sufficient.

Really good product. It’s the exact same type with Alienware m15, but quite cheaper than the one in Dell website. The only thing is you need to install it by ur self. Takes me one hour to figure out how to install it, but it really works well. Now I can play video games smoothly, and save a lot of money as well.

I replaced my existing 8gb of ram in my Acer an515-42 laptop with this pair and no issues as yet. Performance seems to be much improved, with video editing noticeably faster, and games having a few extra fps. My only issue is the packaging was a flimsy clamshell of plastic and it was placed in a thin cardboard sleeve. Luckily nothing was damaged, but maybe place something like this in a small box with packing material in future.

Have used two of these 8gb modules in different machines. One in a 2019 Dell Latitude 5400 and one in a 2019 ASUS TUF FX505DT Gaming Laptop. Both needed 2400mhz DDR and this 2666mhz SODIMM worked perfectly. Both of them were paired with existing 8gb modules to bring them up to 16gb dual-channel mode. No issues at all. Totally recommended.

I'm a Uni student and my ASUS TUF Gaming laptop which I use for my work had only 8gb of RAM which limited me a little with my software. Looking into RAM upgrades on Amazon, I stumbled across this beauty which fit the specifications for my laptop perfectly. When it arrived, I opened my package to reveal the RAM in minimal packaging which easily opened, which is a plus in my books. I found the installation of the RAM easily enough after working on desktops and laptops previously, and after putting it back together it was ready to go straight away, no more problems! Overall, a great product and i'd definitely buy again. Anyone buying the product should do their research on their specified laptop(s) as specs and installation can vary.

Works perfectly with my Lenovo Legion Y530. I had a samsung 8gb ram already but it wasn't enough, only 4 gb of ram was available for actual use but after installing another 8 gigs it performs very well as per my usage. Easy to install, watch some YT tutorial. Android studio works better than before. As for gaming it does improve fps slightly, not all games are ram hungry. Multitasking is FLAWLESS, i can ezly switch between heavy games and chrome without waiting for a second. It is budget friendly and definitely worth the money!

Installed this 8GB RAM in my DS220+ and the DSM immediately recognised the memory (to a total of 10 GB). Perfect alternative if you intend to increase your Synology RAM as the price is so much cheaper than the official memory chips. Disclaimer: I have only used it on DS220+ and it works. You may wish to experiment it on other Synology models.

Volevo aggiungere 8Gb al mio HP che ha disponibili due banchi memoria nei quali, attualmente, c'è un unico banco da 8 GB. Un banco originale (kingston ) costava la bellezza di oltre 100 euro, così ho optato per queste memorie. All'inizio ero un po' titubante visto alcune recensioni negative ma alla fine ho scelto di prendere 2 da 8Gb in moda da averne installati due uguali (precauzione sempre molto utile). Le ho montate senza problemi, il computer si è avviato subito e i banchi hanno superato tutti i test. Che dire, le ricomprerei.

Crucial 2x8GB DDR4-2666. Instaladas en un portátil HP Laptop 15-db1xxx. Funcionan perfectamente pero, aunque el CPUIDZ dice que efectivamente pueden llegar a 2666Mhz (1333Mhz x 2), Windows informa de que están trabajando a 2400MHz. CPUIDZ muestra varias combinaciones de timings posibles que la tarjeta de memoria informa que soporta, y que normalmente se pueden seleccionar desde la BIOS del PC, pero la BIOS del portátil HP está muy capada y no se puede configurar nada de eso. Las originales que tenía el portátil indicaban lo mismo en Windows y al sacarlas indicaban que también eran de 2666MHz, mismo fabricante de los chips, Micron.
