Nifty kit for strengthening hair, including a variety of treatments. The micro needle roller could have longer needles (it doesn’t feel like it’s getting through my long hair). I’ll have to use it for several months before I see results, before I see the efficacy.

Half way through still no signs of growth

There is always a problem when you are required to provide a review for a product you’ve used for a few days, when the entire package needs to be used for three months before any possible effects can be seen. Bearing that in mind, I can only make general comments on this kit. First of all, to my knowledge, minoxidil is the only known treatment proven to generate new hair growth - though there are other products on the market claiming to do this. In addition, a derma roller is supplied to make the treatment more effective. The final two elements of the kit are a bottle of biotin - which has long claimed to reduce hair shedding - and a shampoo containing caffeine and saw palmetto: two more ingredients which claim to reduce hair loss. So, overall it’s a reasonably priced package - and if it works, as any man will tell you, it’ll be worth it at one hundred times the price! Note that a ‘holding’ rating has been awarded at this stage.

The Sons Complete Hair Loss Treatment arrived well-packaged and as described. The package I received looked just like the photos advertised. As I have aged my hair has thinned and I felt that this kit may help restore some volume and slight receding. I have used some hair loss products before so was aware that it may not regrow my hair but I definitely have noticed some baby hairs appearing after consistent use. The shampoo is great and I have used every second day for over a month and must have at least 2/3 of a bottle remaining – you only need a small amount to work up a good lather. The minoxodil spray was less long-lasting – I tried to use it very sparingly as it did run out a lot quicker and lasted me roughly 3 weeks. At times I did notice some dandruff-style dust in my hair but I think this is just from the product when it has dried to my hair. I worried about getting an itchy scalp as this has happened to me before with minoxodil products but I believe using sparingly and not every day helped me avoid this. My hair has definitely begun to regain volume, and seems generally stronger and healthier with a lot less breakage. In order for this to work I feel the 3 prong approach of minoxodil, shampoo and vitamins is essential and targets all of the areas of hair loss. I think it is very comprehensive and has given me good results. It is not a hair transplant in a box but it has absolutely eased my self-confidence issues around my hair and has restored the thinning I was experiencing.
