Got this for my 7 year old German Shepherd who is having skin reactions to allergens. It has a light scent, not overly strong but still leaves your dog smelling fresh which is great for a dog with itchy skin. Leaves the fur nice, soft and clean (always double shampoo a dog) It is a low foam shampoo but that is expected and is kinder to sensitive skin. I used a shampoo brush to ensure the product made it through the coat and onto the skin. The shampoo seems to have provided some relieg even after one use.

Been using this on my dachshund for some time now and has significantly reduced her itching and helped clear her skin . Great value for money easy to use . No horrible smells . Great quality and makes her coat nice and shiny .

The shampoo has left my dog’s fur nice and soft. She has skin allergies so I needed something with chlorexidine in it as this tends to calm her skin. I used to do a prewash with hibiscrub and then go over her with a different shampoo but I haven’t needed to with this. Only down side is the smell is not very strong and it doesn’t linger, but then allergy shampoos don’t usually have strong fragrances

I’m a pet sitter currently caring for some French Bulldogs. I noticed one was constantly itchy and chewing their paws, so I raised it with their owner, who said they’d tried multiple products, changed their food and visited the vet without finding a long term solution. I decided to try this shampoo, one wash, his skin looked much less inflamed (minimal red patches), and he hasn’t chewed at all in over 24 hours. Very promising, hope the effect holds up and if so will be recommending for consistent use. It doesn’t have much of a scent (at least to me) but that’s expected. The fewer fragrances, the less irritation.

I have a bichon frise who has been going mad scratting and biting, so much he had made himself sore. I've used other Bugalugs products before with success so thought I'd give it a go. I found it very watery and had to use loads to get a decent lather. It did clean his coat and he has stopped itching so it does work but, there's only half the bottle left. So not very economical. Bichons do have a double coat so maybe it's something to do with that ? Shame it doesn't go far as it does work.

Scent is lovely, easy to use, foamed up really well and left both dogs coats spotless and soft, one is a Yorkshire terrier and one a dachshund works well on both, would definitely buy and use again

I purchased this product after noticing my cocker spaniel had patches of flaking skin all of a sudden As with all bugalugs dog shampoo, the product is of a thick consistency and the lather is fantastic and the bottle lasts for quite a few times The only downside is the scent isn’t as nice as some of the other shampoos - although perhaps to expected given it’s designed specifically to be kind to the skin That said, my dog was left feeling soft and clean after using this product and so overall I’ve rated it a 4/5
