Pretty healthy in itself and as it's ready roasted you don't have to fry it to make it browner and even more crunchy (though it's tastier if you do). If you want it to be really healthy you can cook it in plain water, but it's nicer cooked in decent stock (which again adds fat and salt). So I'd say it's healthy in itself, but you can make it less so!

Brings back childhood memories of my Turkish family

I am half Turkish and was practically brought up on Israeli cous cous, it is sooo much nicer than the cous cous we get in the UK that is typically used in salads. This is large balls of almost pasta type substance, I like to boil it with plenty of salt water and then add olive oil and butter served with Turkish green beans.
