Excellent product (Metal NOT plastic) to hold a creeping door next to wall. The alternative would have been to remove the hinges, place shims to try and level the door. Due to settling or just plain ware, the door began creeping closed, about 10 degrees from wall. Not much, but annoying! Installing it, took about 30 mins. Why? Need to make sure magnets met, so you'll need to accurately measure placement. You'll need tools: I used my cordless drill to place the screws. Be sure and pre-drill the holds. Otherwise, you may scar the wall, door or molding. Take your time.

The magnetic door holders were very easy to install and work great. They have just enough magnet to hold the door and are very easy to release when you need the door closed, here at our church our doors are fire doors so for the most part they are required to be closed but when we need them open the magnetic holders work wonderfully.

Absolutely the best door stopper. Keeps those slowing closing doors wide open. Also easy to firmly reopen wide. Would recommend

Very robust with solid construction and strong magnet. Installation is very simple if you use the provided 3M adhesive circles... just adhere to the door, attach the adhesive to the wall base and attach the base to the door base then push the door to the wall to stick the wall base. Press 1 2 3 4 and you are done. No need for screws, screwdriver, level and the placement guessing game! Would have rated a 5 if the design was little lighter and sleeker looking. But it works really well at holding and releasing the door.

Super strong magnets. Be careful to place where both parts will be fully on door & baseboard or wall. They are loud when pulling door away from magnet but that might get better with use. Only thing I didn't like is the adhesive is white and our stoppers are black so it shows. Had to use permanent marker on edges to color the adhesive foam pad. I chose not to screw them on yet.

Have not installed them yet but they appear to be of a good quality, heavy and a strong magnet.

This is the perfect DIY solution for our bathroom door that just wouldn’t stay open on its own. I installed it in 5 minutes or less and it works really well. I did end up putting a piece of black electrical tape on the one side to lessen the strength of the magnet. You can’t even see the tape and now it’s the perfect amount of “hold” without being aggressive. Should’ve bought this a long time ago!!!

We love how well the stopper works when carrrying in groceries and other items. However even with predrilling to start the holes in the baseboard the screws with it broke. Had to go find some other screws to use. Replace the screw in the package and you’ve got a winner!

Works great when screw to floor or wall but the adhesive material does not stick at all so if you want it to stick i can only give it a 3 star
