Purina Tidy Cats Free and Clean Unscented Cat Litter - 38 lb. Box

This cat litter works really well. It clumps nicely, which makes cleaning the litter box quick and easy. The clumps stay together without falling apart, so scooping is simple and less messy. It also does a good job hiding odors, which is always important with cat litter. Even after a few days, it helps keep the litter box area smelling much better than expected. Overall, it’s a solid litter that does exactly what you want it to do. Good clumping, good odor control, and easy cleanup. I would definitely recommend it.

Awesome litter, the box is heavy and a little frustratign to handle. Gotta put your back into it. The box is really thick so it's hard to break into which is a plus if your cats try to tear the litter bags but a minus if you want to open the box or break it down lol. It's worth the money, such a god amount of litter. The texture is good but it does track a lot I won't lie. It smells great though and is easy to scoop.

Out of all the litters I have tried so far. This one is my favorite. It clumps well, making it easy to scoop out pee, just as much as the poop. Despite being "Unscented" it still does well at controlling odors! So it last longer than other cheaper litters I have tried. I also like that when I scoop, a bunch of dust does NOT fly up in the air everywhere. I have had dusty litter in the past, I won't mention brands (was not tidy cats though) ... And this one, thankfully, truly is free and clean! Barely any dust at all! None that I noticed. So that's awesome! I'll continue buying this kind as long as the price stays affordable.

I've been using Purina Tidy Cats Free & Clean Unscented for a while now, and overall it does a good job. The unscented formula is a big plus—no overwhelming fragrance, and it keeps odors under control surprisingly well. The 38 lb. box is also a great value and lasts a good amount of time. However, the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the texture and clumping seem a bit inconsistent from box to box. Sometimes it clumps beautifully and stays firm, and other times it can be a little more crumbly or dusty than expected. It still works, just not always at the same level of performance. Aside from that, it’s easy to pour, doesn’t track too badly, and the lack of added fragrances is a huge win. If consistency were improved, this would easily be a 5-star product. Overall, still a reliable unscented litter option.

I’ve tried countless litters over the years, and this is the one I always come back to. It just works. Here’s why: 1. Dust-Free Myth Truly dust-free, hard-clumping litter doesn’t exist. The fine particles (what people call “dust”) are exactly what make clumps tight and solid. Without them, you end up with gooey, messy clumps. This litter gets it right. 2. Lightweight Litters = Less Litter Lightweight formulas are mostly air. They don’t clump as well, and you burn through them faster. Unless lifting is an issue, you’re getting less for more money. 3. Odor Control That Lasts No litter controls odor forever, but this one does better than anything else I’ve tried. Week 1 = excellent. Week 2 = still strong. By Week 3, it’s time for a full refresh. With one cat and two boxes, I swap everything monthly, and this litter keeps the boxes fresh in between. Bottom line: This litter hits the sweet spot—strong clumping, great odor control, and no gimmicks. After years of testing alternatives, this is the one I trust and recommend every time.

This has been the best litter I have tried for my cat. It works so great with my automatic litter box and it smells good. It has a low traction and it is not irritating to my cat's paws. I used to purchase the no scent litter but I have realized that this litter has a better scent and my house smells less. Very recommended

i can’t even list all of the litters i’ve tried, TOO MANY. My foster kitty is very messy and pees a lot. previous litters would either take too long to clump or fall apart when scooping. i like to scoop twice a day so the clumping ability is important for me. this litter is also top tier in masking odor. the dust is very low and nonscented. PLEASE try this litter if you’ve been struggling!

I give the product five stars. It works great in my Whisker litter robot: clumps well, no dust, and the biggest thing for me is that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the Whisker bladder which Dr Elsley & Whisker did. The problem was the product packaging. It is extremely heavy well actually it’s exactly what it says: 38pound, but the box has no handles so to speak and when it was delivered, it was delivered just in the box so naturally, there was some spillage out of the sides. when I get a large bag of kitty litter, I can literally kick it down the steps and it’s slinky’s down and doesn’t open or rip, but the box had to be carried down. The best value is the larger size and other packaging can be obtained elsewhere. It’s kitty litter in a cardboard box so if delivered in the rain and you aren’t there to get it, it’s all wasted.
