Akkopower Battery Replacement for Black+ Decker 20V Lithium 4.0 ah 2 Pack

I have two Black and Decker yard tools, trimmer and blower. The original batteries weren't holding a charge anymore so I purchased these. Oh my. They take a bit longer to charge than the original ones but they seem to have more power for longer. I hope they last!

They definitely take longer to charge but I haven’t run one out yet, and I did at times with the oem’s, one is a tight fit in the charger, but the performance overcomes that slight issue. I would recommend these batteries.

Excellent ! Just like the original B&D Battery, I'm ordering two more.

Great product

These work fine....too bad I have to keep replacing them !!!!

Too early to talk about longevity, but the batteries charge well and work perfectly in my B&D 20v drill. I'll update this review as needed depending on battery life. These were purchased to replace another brand that stopped working after I accidentally got the battery wet while attaching a bolster pad to my dock at the ocean...salt water is definitely not good for any battery, and I shouldn't have expected it to be waterproof in any way. Now I'm back in business with a working drill.

Purchased in July 2023. Rotated them with the original batteries for the remainder of summer - 2 months. First battery failed in 2024. Still shows charged in 2026, but will not run in any B&D equipment (drill, blower, trimmer). Second battery failed in 2026. Will not charge. Run times were extremely poor compared to B&D OEM batteries. Original batteries are 7 years old and still running like new. Good power and good run time. The Akkopower battery sounded like a good idea but was, in reality, a waste of money. Stick with original B&D product.

Fits my Black & Decker weed eater and other power tools and works just like the originals. Will buy again.

Perfect replacement battery with more available life for our B+D whipper snipper. And wouldn't you know that the B&D w-s these were meant for died mid-summer (we've had it for approx 10yrs) so we purchased another and ensured it would accept these new batteries... so now we have 5 batteries... the original one (2.0 ah), these 2 additional ones + 1 new one that came with the new w-s.In the end we have a handful of batteries making it possible to finish the work in a much shorter amount of time as we don't have to wait for batteries to be charged up to start.

My batteries wouldn’t hold a charge for very long do I bought 2 more. They are great snd last a lot longer than the ones I have.

Pleasantly surprised. Doing lots of back deck work and I put one in my drill. Used it a lot and still going strong .

Works quite well with the B&D weed whacker.Battery life is good.Better than factory battery provided with the weed whacker due to higher AH rating.Recharge is fine on the B&D charger supplied with the weed whacker.

Batteries were as described and arrived earlier than expected, which was very nice. Haven't had a chance to use the batteries so can't comment on battery run time, longevity, etc.
