Easy to use and lots of information displayed
I purchased a large backup battery and inverter and needed to understand how long i could expect different appliances and sump pumps to last. This monitor plugged in easily and provided all the information I needed. It is very safe and functional and easy to use, with an easy to read display and a lot of selectable screen to display anything to might be looking for

This wattmeter has worked really well for me. The images show its accuracy clearly. It can calculate kilowatt-hours, amps, and even estimate the total cost of your energy usage. I’ve used it to gauge how many devices I can safely run off my generator and inverters without overloading them. Overall, it’s been a very useful and reliable little tool.

Very Nice Power Meter For The Price
I bought the two-pack for $17 and they work well. From my testing both meters are accurate. The ones I received have a backlit display that stays on for 10 minutes after your last key press. You can even press the UP button to turn off the backlight, which is a nice feature. The display is large and easy to read from all directions except from the left while the backlight is on. The display goes blank at about a 35 degree angle from the left. The only downfall of a large display is that it only shows one parameter at a time. So you do have to toggle through the different screens to get to the parameter you want to see. The build quality is actually very nice and solid. I own several different power meters and this one is the smallest. It displays KWh and Amps down to the thousandths. It displays Power Factor down to the hundredths. It displays Volts and Watts down to the tenths. And it display Hertz as whole numbers. You can enter your electricity cost per KWh, but only by whole cents. It does remember your electricity cost and KWh usage when you unplug it or lose power. Some of my other power meters will keep track of how long an item runs with a built-in run time timer. This power meter does not have a run time timer and it also doesn't display VA. For the price, this IS a 5-star power meter. However, the display fading away when viewing from the left side can be frustrating if that is the only angle you can view it from. Otherwise, I do like this power meter very much. I will be adding them to my collection of power meters.

Such an awesome gauge.
I've been needing this for a long time, just didn't know they existed till one day doing some statistical data research with AI help to figure out my power usage, and results when I make a change, etc. This thing tells me with all my rigging in my old school RV Van that my 32" HD TV and Tuner Box I've got running off a 20v tool battery is only drawing 23W! So, anything AC plug-in you can find out what power is being consumed. For me, I'm still dealing with power loss due to conversions which I'm working on. Easy to read, auto dims after a few minutes, seems durable, great quality and super easy to figure out and use.

Inexpensive and it works great.
First off, I own multiple Klein and Fluke testers. I still use these for multiple applications. Each of these cost in the excess of $ 100.00. I always need to remove their batteries so that the batteries don't leak and destroy the tool. It's a "best practice" thing. Here's the cool things about this tool, it's inexpensive and it doesn't take batteries. You plug into a socket, and it's powered automatically. I checked it for accuracy against both my Klein multimeter, Klein socket tester, and Fluke inductive testers. It was dead on for all measurements: Volts, Amps, Watts, etc. Here's the question: Why would I use this if I wave the other meters? Well. this is quick and easy, and I hate reinstalling batteries in each of the other devices. If I have multiple circuits to check or troubleshoot, I'll beak out the Klein and Fluke tools, but if I only have a couple of things to check or I didn't have multiple hundreds of dollars to spend, this tool is a very reasonable substitute. The only drawback that i can see, is that this tester resets back to W (watts) every time it's unplugged. It's a small annoyance to cycle to one of the other measurements. It only takes a few seconds, but it's an annoyance. Note: The directions are a little weak. To cycle what is being measured, you hold down the (M) button for about 5 seconds, the screen will flash, then tap the (M) button again until you see the proper field you want to be measured. It only takes a few seconds. I would definitely recommend this tool.

Power meter that makes generator load checks easy
I used this plug‑in power meter to measure the watt draw of appliances for generator sizing, and the display updates quickly enough to see startup surges and running loads without guessing. The buttons are straightforward, the readings are stable, and the unit feels solid when plugged into the outlet without wobbling. It handles continuous use without heating up, and for the price it’s a durable, cost‑effective tool for anyone trying to balance loads or plan generator capacity more accurately.

This works well and isn't intrusive. Easy setup too. Just find what you pay for electricity, per KW/h, enter it and it's ready to go. The only thing, which I hope they'll address is that the LED backlight is wsy too bright with no way to adjust the brightness without adding a modification on the PCB itself. Other than that, very nice product at a very reasonable price.

We are loving abroad in Germany and brought along some 115v appliances. To power them, we got a couple of voltage transformers, which many told us to use sparingly due to their high consumption, especially when the transformer is idle. I wanted to see how they actually performed, not how others claimed they would. So, I got this. It reads voltage, watts, and kwh, and also times the load. This thing is pretty cool. Not only did it do what I wanted, but I could measure use over time. Power here is expensive, so I wanted to know if it would be less expensive to buy and run 240v appliances. For my case, I think the answer is "no", as the appliances are used for a few minutes a day and the meter verified that the transformer only adds about 26 watts to the usage and pulls the same 26 watts with no load. I expect it would get worse as it warmed up, but that's not likely here and we can shut ours off when not in use. That's another thing we were warned of, that the transformer would pull power even switched off. In our case, at least, that is untrue. Ours pull 0 watts turned off. Back to the meter. It's simple to use, and tells me the information that I want to know. The display is simple, logical, back-lit when plugged in to a powered outlet. It works great. Delivery was fast and it was packaged well.
