Gourmia GHP9530 Induction Cooker Diffuser Plate 9.5" – 3.4mm Thick Stainless Steel – Use Any Cookware on Induction Stove Hob or Range

I rent my home and have had an induction stove for over 2 years. Many of my pots and pans, I quickly learned, didn't work on my stove and I had to put them away. I figured out one tip was that if a magnet sticks to a pot, it will work on the induction stove. That made things a little easier when shopping for replacements. However, I already loved my current pots and pans and grew frustrated that I couldn't just use the ones I had. So I searched for what I had hoped someone had already problem-solved and to my excitement, it existed! An induction cooker diffuser! I ordered it online, immediately, and to my anticipation, it worked!!! I was able to dust off my pots/pans and welcome them back into the kitchen. I am very happy with this product. With use, there is some discoloration, though I imagine that is to be expected during the heat transfer. I use this every day and it has worked with all of my pots and pans. While cooking, I sometimes need to turn my larger skillets so that everything cooks evenly, so If there is ever a larger size available, I will purchase that one too!

Bought this for a small stainless steel tea kettle too small for my induction burner to work with. My induction burner is an 1800 watt unit by Duxtop. It has a tendency to shut down to 140 degrees when it gets too hot, and that was the case with this diffuser plate. Set it on "10" and put the tea kettle in the middle... heated up rapidly and the water got close to a boil in about 4 minutes (around 16 ounces)... unit shut down to 140 degrees... reset it to 360 degrees... it actually stayed there, but took another 4 minutes to finally boil. I'm going to try some different things to get it to work better, but that's the result of my first effort. It is a large, heavy piece of metal... it takes a l-o-n-g time to cool, which for hot tea is not a bad thing. You could also use it that way to keep something warmed. Boy, that's a long handle! It does not transfer any heat at all that I noticed, which I suppose is the point. Seems to be good quality stainless steel with a solidly riveted handle.

This is a very well made product. It works as expected, and it great for those "induction ready" pans that only have a tiny circle of steel embedded in their base. This allows the whole bottom of the pan to heat. Drawbacks are you can't use high heat, and it takes longer to heat the pan with this tool.

Very pleased with this product. My mom had given me a nice set of waterless cookwear 34 years ago. With this product, I am able to use them on my induction Nu Wave burner! Other pots I have work well too. I can't help but think 1 star reveiws are those who misunderstood how to use it. Observations: *Induction burner has to heat up this product before my pan heats. Its not a long delay (a few seconds). *I do set my temperature a bit higher when using this product. *Heats evenly *Does discolor with use, but I expected it to due to heat. It doesnt affect its use. Gave it 4 stars on easy to clean for that reason only. *Product stays HOT, after use so be careful!

I bought this in preparation for getting my induction stovetop. That was delayed but I finally got the stovetop on Wednesday. Then today I tried it. Yes, the burner would turn on but even on high I could not boil water in a small pan. Unfortunately I am out of the return window so I will just throw it away and say I learned a $21 lesson. Just a waste of money.

This induction diffuser plate is a useful and effective accessory for spreading out the heat produced by an induction cook-top. It allows one to effectively use small pans that normally do not couple well to the induction source. It is well made, sturdy and very flat so it couples well to the induction cooktop. However, since it is made from stainless steel and is fairly thick (slightly more than 1/8 inch thick) the material in this diffuser plate does not have very good heat conduction. This makes it get MUCH hotter on the underside of the diffuser plate than on top when operating the cooktop at moderate to high levels. This high surface temperature could possibly damage your induction cooktop if this diffuser plate is used at high induction power levels. Take care!

Works perfectly on induction stove. Glad I can use all my cookware and didn't have to purchase new.

Extremely high quality and craftsmanship. Cheaper than competitors. Induction functionality works on all size burners no need to buy multiple induction adapters. Thought non removable handle would be a problem but it is not.

This Diffuser works perfectly fine. It does it's job. Recommend it.

Seems to be well made. I can use any pot or pan on top of this and it works on my induction cooker. And the size is just right.

Works well for stove top kettle and coffee pot. Not strong enough for big pot of liquid but good for smaller ones.

It turns our regular cookware into inductive.

Takes forever to heat up and then when heated it starts cooling and doesn't heat anymore and changed color on the 1st try. the handle gets hot half way.
