Peugeot Tan Hoi Vietnamese Black Peppercorns, 140g - 7 fresh sachets of 20g

It’s great, fresh, true black pepper spice as it should be & has it grouped in several packets to last long

I've owned my peugeot pepper mill for ~15 years and while I love it, I find that most black peppercorns are slightly too large to feed reliably in my mill. This means that after several grinds, I have to shake the mill to loosen up the larger corns that won't feed to allow smaller corns that will feed to get to the grinder, then when I get to the end of the pepper, I have to throw out a tablespoon or so of unground pepper because the mill won't feed it. I've taken it apart, cleaned it thoroughly, it just won't feed larger peppercorns. I bought some fancy Vietnamese pepper from a spice shop and the vast majority of it fed through the Peugeot mill. After I had used all of that, I was on the lookout for more Vietnamese peppercorns and of course Peugeot sells specialty pepper that will actually feed in their mills. But they do, and it does, so 5/5 stars, it tastes like pepper and the mill feeds it.

If you own a Peugeot grinder, these pepper berries are the perfect size for their grinders. Instead of futzing with grinding pepper it just pours out! Tastes good to, I think its my favorite black pepper!

I did not realize how TINY the quantity is in this box. It's several envelopes of pepper. Be sure to look closely at what you get here. At first, it seemed crazy. But the result of these individual envelopes is freshness. So when you refill, it's super-pungent and strong. I gotta admit, it's great quality. If you do the math on price per ounce, it's insane. But... each envelop lasts a couple months for a family of 4. And I like to cook. So... yeah, stupidly expensive. But... I like it anyway and may buy again anyway, because of quality and freshness. If I went through more pepper, obviously not.

I have the great Peugeot Pepper Mill, which is used to hand-grind fresh pepper. These peppercorns are just right, and deliver best pepper taste.

This pepper is a little more citrusy than the Cambodian Camp pot pepper, which everyone says is the best in the world. This pepper is a little hotter, but I believe it’s just as good as the Cambodian it is just different. I would highly recommend it very flavorful and great on just about everything

Poivre noir d’excellente qualité, parfaitement adapté au moulin Peugeot. Ce poivre n’est pas excessivement fort, avec beaucoup de saveur.
