This is exactly what it says it's as far as I'm able to tell a genuine horsehair brush & a wooden handle/top part it's concaved & is made of real wood not fiberbored or plastic it's got a nice stain/coating on it. It functions as it should it cleaned my boots up quickly & easily & my boots were very dusty before I used this brush it's a good price & a matching what the description states it is. I would definitely buy & recommend to others to buy it they're looking for a leather brush this isn't a painting brush although I suppose you might be able to to paint with it that's not its intened purpose as far as I'm aware but for cleaning boots which is the reason I purchased it, this item works very well & it seems to be made well & should last for a good amount of time if used properly & stored nicely. Overall I'd say it's worth the money for sure.

Great customer service and a good product. The wood used for the handle is clearly high quality. However, I feel it is worth mentioning that the brush will leave hairs on whatever it is you are using it one, but those are easy to pick off, so it really isn't a big deal. Also, this is the first time I've owned a brush like this. It may just be that the brush is new, and hairs will stop falling out after a period of use. Either way, I recommend it!

I found this product to work well on my boots by pocketbooks and my leather jackets. It is made of real wood sturdy and the bristles are soft enough but not too soft they're perfect. I definitely recommend this product pricing is great.

Really a high quality brush!

I have several different brands and sizes of shoe polish brushes. This one was an experiment. I'm setting up my son with his first shoeshine kit. I personally use the Ralyn large brushes and they are a good size but I find it hard to get into the smaller areas of the shoe well. The Ralyn also shed a LOT more than I like. This Takavu brush is a tad smaller but I think a better size for overall shoecare and seems to be a standard size for these brushes anyway. It fits the hand well and gets into the arch areas without any problem. The brush came in it's own box which I was surprised to discover is actually recommended for storage as well. Makes sense to keep from damaging the bristles and the box is slightly heavier material than you'd expect. You can tell it was purposely meant to offer some protection for the brush (which otherwise would seem wasteful). During our shining session we each got to try both of the main brushes and both agreed we like the Takavu better. The size is right and more importantly it barely shed at all. Bristles are soft and seem to have a good density. I'm actually going to order some for myself now seeing how well they worked. This will be my new primary shine brush. Thanks.

I use this brush for my leathercrafting. It is great for giving my vegetable tanned leather its final once over to add more luster to the leather. On suede, it is indispensable for sweeping away stray threads, trimmings of leather and paper, and punch poo. The seller reached out to me to ensure I received the product (apparently they have had difficulty with careless delivery drivers), and to ask if I was satisfied. The bristles are tight in the handle and densely packed, it fits nicely in the hand, and is a comfortable weight. Great product.

Good quality at the price

I read about the loose brush hairs, and I spent a few minutes just pulling them from the new brush before I used it. After that, when I used it, it never shed further. Very nice brush, it’s my first and I’m very happy with it!
