Peastorm Exhaust Wrap Heat Shield Automotive Aluminum Material Muffler Wrap Insulation Armor, 12" x 24"

This heat shield wrap is heavy duty, having thicker metal and fiberglass than other options. To cut it to shape I used tin snips for aluminum roof gutters, worked fine. I used this to thermally protect the circuit board in my oven, which wasn't sufficiently done by the factory. It does have fiberglass, so PPE such as gloves and a breathing mask are recommended when handling.

Works great for keeping heat away from the fire wall from the turbo.

Great quality just what I needed

I used this to protect an oil furnace flue that was a little closer than I wanted to interior traffic. It is pretty easy to cut with tin snips, but it takes a little strength. I was a little disappointed that is only reduced heat transmission partially, and the shield was still uncomfortably warm, but not hot enough to burn unless there is prolonged contact.

Great little product, I used it to buffer my exhaust from hitting the floor board and it was easy to cut, looked good and appears to be made of great material. We will let you know later if it is a durable product.

I have had this installed on my exhaust pipe for a year now, the insulation actually touches my spare tire and has never gotten hot enough to cause damage.

Replaced heat blanket on my mini x muffler. Works as it should.

Good product. I just cut it an inch bigger on two sides and fold it a half inch on all four edges and tapped the edges down to make it extra secure. This product came with two long straps that are long enough to go around a muffler.

Worked great to quiet down a section of exhaust pipe I replaced it was thin and a bit tinny sounding definitely made a difference
