I took a while researching what car seat I wanted for my 1 year old daughter reading reviews and comparing chairs on YouTube etc. when I came across this one I wasn’t sure how good it would be as I didn’t even know silver cross made car seats. I decided to go with this one as I didn’t find any bad reviews and was happy with what I’d researched on the internet. Once it arrived and unboxed just by looking at it could see how luxurious it looked and the material is lovely and soft with lots of padding that can be removed as your child gets older. I downloaded the app to help install the car seat and it was really simple and easy. I have used isofix before so I would not have needed the instructions really but the app is great for people who haven’t had that experience. It also comes with instruction book however I’ve not needed to look at this as of yet and is stowed away in the back of the seat. There’s nothing bad I can say about this car seat I’m really impressed by it and my daughter looks super comfy and safe in it.

The clip is a bit tricky/tight to get in, however this is robust, comfortable and a car seat with great safety reviews so would recommend

I bought this seat a year ago, this is my experience with it. The seat is generally good, but there are a couple of issues with it. 1. You've got to get used to the seat belt buckle, it is not easy to lock. 2. When you put the seat in a reclined position, it doesn't feel sturdy. The seat sounds like it is wobbling. Apart from these two issues, the seat is good.

The buckle mechanism is cumbersome and the seat is heavy. However, it is a sturdy piece of kit and nothing less is expected of Silver Cross. There are other seats that swivel and getting a larger child in and out of this seat especially if they are sleeping can be tricky if you have a saloon car. The isofix system is easy but again can be tricky to fit into the car depending on your isofix points. A bug problem I experiences with my seat is that if you clip it in and push the base back, it keeps going back and the pin doesn’t hold properly. I hope this is not a safety issue and the seat won’t go flying in the event of an emergency brake or accident!!! 🥺

I got this for my 20 months old, it’s a really good car seat that will go up until he’s at least 12 ! Really easy and quick to install. Took me about five minutes tops. It’s reclines too, so good for when my little one falls asleep in the car. Would definitely recommend. I want another one for my car haha

This car seat is lovely looking and my little one looks comfortable. It’s also extremely easy to install. BUT the straps are awful. They twist easily and have become hard to release. The clip/buckle is also plastic which I was not expecting. Having maxi cosi previously I expected a metal clip. Overall I would definitely not recommend this seat, my husband hates it and for the price I definitely expected basics, like the straps and clip, to be in good working order.

I’ve owned a couple of Silver Cross prams before and decided to purchase this product based on those positive experiences. The build quality is undeniably solid, and the materials feel premium. However, the design falls short when it comes to user experience. As others have mentioned, latching the belts requires considerable effort. Trying to fasten the belt while my toddler is already fidgeting or upset is incredibly frustrating. Adjusting the belt is another challenge—I thought it would get easier with use, but it remains a constant struggle. When it comes to comfort, it’s equally disappointing. My toddler is of average size, but with the insert in place, it’s too tight to fasten the belt properly. Without the insert, it feels like she’s sitting in a hollow space, and her posture looks uncomfortable. Watching her sit like that gives me backache just thinking about it. While the quality is impressive, the poor design makes this product unusable for us. I’ve decided to return it.

Amazing car seat and fab for our 16 month old. Very secure and comfy with the added extra comfort in which can be removed when your child grows. Easy to fit into the car and very sturdy!
