Inaccurate description of material and stains!
PROS: This sari is a beautiful bright yellow and brilliant white. The blouse piece easily detached from the rest of the material. There is excess material on both ends of the sari for hemming, etc. I'm 5'8" as well as plus-sized, and there is plenty of material to this sari for various drapes. CONS: The cotton material is extremely thin. The seller's description of the sari is inaccurate; a better description would be to describe the material as a "gauze weight" material. For the price, I was expecting a lightweight cotton similar to a broadcloth. THE WORST PART: The sari I received has tiny black dot stains on it. If the colors weren't such a vibrant yellow and white, the stains might not be noticeable. I thought the stains might be ink; however, hairspray did not remove them. I use fountain pens and I am used to small ink stains easily removed with hairspray. I was hoping to wear this sari to a mid-summer garden wedding. Unfortunately, I'll be sending it back and purchasing the less vibrant sari my husband picked as his second choice from a seller I've purchased quality saris from before.

The saree was pretty good. The material was also very nice. But it is not advisable to buy it at this price. It seems that the price is too much for the saree. If you get it for a price around 550/- to 700/- , no doubt you can go for it.
