This was easy to put together and I'm a complete and total novice. As in my husband died and I inherited a bunch of tools I'd never touched before, novice. My kid wants a Star Wars room though so I figured if I go slow and just follow the directions, it'll be fine. It was indeed! The instructions are very clear, so is the labeling on each piece. There's not a variety of screws and such, they managed to make 90% of this with two main components that are used everywhere. There was an extra piece for each thing (save the drawer pulls) which was nice. The lights are easy to figure out and my 11 year old loves it. We were able to fit his Nintendo Switch, a zillion pokemon cards, all sorts of charging cables, his laptop, an iPad, and so much more in here. It's deceptively spacious. The wireless charging on top is such a fantastic addition. Less clutter, no more "my phone died and my alarm didn't go off" nonsense, and it works with his AirPods too!In terms of design my kid wants a Star Wars room. I don't love the grungy rebel version of Star Wars, I'm more of a sleek empire type. When designing for a kid rebel is too easy to go juvenile whereas the modernist sleek look will be something he can keep growing into. I didn't want a completely sterile grey space and the lights are awesome for keeping the look fun. I like that once he leaves the room they turn off on their own, and will pop back on as he comes back in. My middle son (5y) is asking for one as well. This is definitely something we're going to own for years to come.I liked this enough that after assembling and installing it in his room today, I've bought a second. I'm going to be able to store the VR headset, accessories for it, the fidget toys, and so much more in here. Really the storage is so fantastic for electronics and things of that nature. It gets even better that I'm going to be able to put a single surge protector under the bed and he can be charging virtually all his stuff with minimal clutter. He's a pre-teen boy so dusting and vacuuming isn't a top priority and there are so few wires just laying around collecting dust. I just can't say enough good about this.

The overall build quality is pretty good with this nightstand given the price point. The instructions are laid out very well and easy to follow. Even though the instructions are easy to follow, it is a fairly lengthy process to put the entire thing together. Don't let that fool you into not buying the nightstand though. The end results are a nice sturdy nightstand with power ports built in and a wireless charger which works well.The wireless charger isn't a "superfast" charger, so don't expect to throw your nearly dead phone or tablet on there and have a full charge in 30 minutes. I think it's a slower charger to not overheat your phone or the table, especially if you're going to leave it on the charger overnight as you sleep. It will have a full-charge if you leave it overnight though.It does have a nice feature where the lights can turn on when it "senses" movement nearby which is good because you can use it as a nightlight when getting up to use the bathroom or getting a drink without having the lights constantly on like a night light. I did have some randomness with the lights turning on last night though. Not sure if it was sensing some ghosts in the room or it was just bugging out. I simply turned off the "sensing" button and didn't have any issues. As with anything electronic, it could've just been bugging out, or it could be having some quality issues with the LED strip or the module inside. I'll report back if it happens more.

So my daughter wanted a Night Stand for her room. I bought this after I searched for weeks for a Night Stand that would reach my requirements. This actually meet my requirements I was looking for. Just the right size , made of solid wood, sturdy, had lights, phone charger. It's actually a very nice Night Stand and she loves it. So you wonder why I give a 4 star instead of 5 star well the only issue I really had was with the directions of putting it together mainly the metal drawer slides took me forever to figure out how to separate them. And it was very simple once I figured it out. Had the instructions been just a little bit more clear on understanding this product would have gotten my 5 star. Time wise it took me about 2 hours to put together. Even though it comes with a Screw n Philips driver I do recommend that you get a little longer one to help with the process of putting this together.

I was concerned that this nightstand would be cheaply made but was proven wrong! It took maybe 20 minutes to fully assemble and it holds up great! The color change swatch is a little touchy sometimes, but the lights aren’t overbearing and have a great subtlety to them which creates a calming ambiance to the room. It is the perfect size to store a few books, laptop, lotions etc. it is well built and love the screw choices!

I don't usuallly write reviews but this nightstand deserves one. I'm really happy with this item, it was a little tricky with the first two pieces but after that it was all smooth. Just make sure you assemble the drawers correctly, i was watching TV and when finished the drawers wouldn't go all the in and of course it was on me, i was distracted, but fixed them and Wow, I'm in love. My room is getting a make over so please don't look the mess just the nightstand. The material is glossy and so pretty, i don't think the picture does enough justice, also you can change the light colors and charge your phone. They are awesome!!!!

Instructions are simple the assembly is easy. It looks just like the picture. Very happy with my purchase!

The top part does not feel stable and wobbles if you grab it. The plastic film on the different faces are torn at the edges so when it is removed you can see the scratches to the sides of each piece. Other than those issues, it is pretty cool with the lights and charging capabilities
