Everything about this “Old Wood” deserves a six star rating! Every piece is high quality and worth every penny. The collection of choice woods including juniper and piñon is so exceptional and every piece, largest cuts and smaller kindlings burns beautifully. The aroma has to be experienced to understand fully the quality of this wood. There is not a bad piece in the bundle. The wood looks beautiful stacked in my basket and looks equally beautiful burning in the fireplace. Great find on Amazon and exceptional price for the quality!

Giving 3 stars because there is quite a bit of false advertising. There is no aromatic special feature in this fire wood. It smells like firewood. Nothing special. On the positive side it burns well. The box was completely beat and opened when delivered. I was able to get 3 fires in my fireplace out of 1 box of wood. It’s expensive but convenient. Upside is being able to order firewood on Amazon and being a Prime member I got free shipping. Downside is their prices have increased and it was already overpriced to begin with. I would have probably reordered if I would have been able to get the same or a discounted price. It’s just firewood and we can all buy it anywhere. Those of us who are Prime members order for convenience because we are busy and it makes sense. Bottom line you can get the same thing from the bundles of wood outside the grocery store. This is very convenient but don’t have high expectations. You’re paying for convenience. That’s it. And the prices have increased!

I have been trying for over a year to find a good source of actual Juniper and Pinion mix for an outdoor fireplace. I have spent time in Arizona where in the evening you can smell all the outdoor fireplaces burning juniper and pinion. There is nothing like it. It took me a couple of years to figure out that the mixture is what smelled so good in the night air of the desert. Finally this product arrived and every single night I have my outdoor fireplace going at sunset no matter how hot it is outside. The neighborhood is mystified at the aromatics. This is the real deal. I am so happy with this product. My only suggestion - please double box it, as the single box barely survived the shipping. Thank you so much for actually mixing juniper and pinion and not giving me pine or oak or some other deception like many others. Yes it is expensive but for about ten to twelve fires per box it is worth it. This product is so great. Thank you.

Some of the wood was a little green and did not burn well, but I let it sit for a month and it improved. Also, I wanted as much Juniper as possible but it was mostly pinion. Its the Juniper that creates the wonderful scent. I will try again.

Great product, nice size pieces of wood and exactly the weight they advertise. Wood is well seasoned and burns well. We use this in both our outdoor fire pit and our indoor woodburning fire places to have the "out west" mountain ski town smells that juniper and pinion evokes. Shipped on time and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again (and will!)
