Variable Friction Arm

One of the best tools for photographers and videographers, so versatile and handy that i've found myself not minding the price because they get used so often. They are incredibly sturdy and this version with the friction wheel instead of the lever allows you to make fine adjustments which comes in handy when you're using these for gripping reflector boards that need fine adjustment. Although I would consider it quite expensive for what it is I've not found another replacement i'd be willing to choose over this.

What a great piece of kit, this is now a must take accessory when I'm out and about, combined with a super-clamp from manfrotto you can have a stable platform for any camera by clamping to handrails or other structures. The large central wheel locks and unlocks all the joints together, it just works brilliantly

Much better than the lever type 'Magic Arm'... this model is more reliable, easier to use and holds more weight. Very useful in the studio.

these things are great if you need them Just a shame they are quite so expensive although the engineering is superb so you don't mind in the end.

This is a great film tool to have, I needed it to fly a overhead Shotgun microphone for my home film studio. Very innovative tool, thanks Manfrotto ✅😀

Great for mounting flashes where you can't place a stand, good build quality works well with a super clamp and umbrella bracket

This is an awesome bit of kit, I needed it to show of cameras on my exhibition stand.

I have being using this type of clamp in my job as an Industrial Radiographer for many years its very versatile and simple to use

I started with a Manfrotto 244Micro to have my external recorder mountable pretty much anywhere on my videography setup, and loved it. I then started using them for stuff like mounting my cell phone above my computer to use it as my webcam for Zoom/Skype/etc. (using the AWESOME Mac + iOS app Camo, check it out!) So when the time came that I built a small vocal isolation booth and I wanted to boom the microphone overhead, moving up to this 244N + a Manfrotto Super Clamp seemed like a great idea. And, lo and behold, what seemed to be was, in truth, fact! The arm + clamp combo is currently holding up a tube mic, and seems to have had no problem with any of my other microphones. I liked it so much that I'm geting a couple more. They're just super handy sorts of things to have around: mount little LED video lights on them, I can put my mirrorless on it if I'm not using heavy glass, etc. etc. Just… super handy, and does the trick!

Totalmente recomendado

Love those Magic Arms. So nice to have in different times.

works just as expected. three joints all locked by the one hand wheel. For some odd reason it was cheaper to order the magic arm and replacement camera bracket separately than the two together as a kit.
