Great sprayer
I don't often write reviews but in this case I have to. I used the sprayer for the very 1st time, not just this one jut any sprayer. I was always leary thinking it was beyond my ability. But this sprayer was not only easy to use, the instructions were clear and it did a great job! To boot, it was so easy to clean. May have been my 1st time but won't be my last. Thank you for such a great product.

Grate paint sprayer for DIY projects
I’m really impressed with this paint sprayer. It was easy to assemble right out of the box and very user-friendly, even for someone who isn’t a professional painter. The spray patterns are adjustable, which made it simple to get an even, smooth finish on different surfaces. The motor is powerful and consistent, and it handled paint well without clogging as long as it was properly thinned. Cleanup was also much easier than I expected, which is a huge plus. It saved me a lot of time compared to using brushes or rollers and gave my project a more professional-looking result. Overall, this is an excellent value for the price and a great tool for home improvement or DIY projects. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable paint sprayer.

Look no further
This spray gun is amazing and at a great price. It comes with everything you need to get started for just about any project you can think of. We got it to paint some storage shelves and it worked perfectly. It’s super easy to use. The instructions are very detailed. We were able to get this project done in about 2 hours so it’s very quick and that’s with doing two coats and waiting for everything to try in between. It’s portable and easy to move around. It’s comfortable to hold as well, you don’t get tired. Overall it’s a great spray gun and 100% recommend using it!

Spray Gun
The HVLP Spray Gun has been a surprise. The sprayer is well designed and simple to assemble and operate. I have used only latex-water based paint and found it easy to clean up after use. The little instruction manual is well written and covers most considerations, but I offer these suggestions: 1) Adjust the Rate of Flow (pa. 15) - practice with this by adjusting the rate of flow to the lowest setting and then adjust upward incrementally to learn how much spray you will actually get with each adjustment. I didn't read the section closely and used it on the setting it was on as received and the spray was way-too thick. As a result, I'm having to sand down some runs on my project and respray. My fault...not the sprayer's. 2) If you are going to use paint from a can that is left over from another job I highly recommend that you filter the paint through a filter that is included with the sprayer. The paint in a previously opened can will collect particles and sediment, and if those contaminants are not removed they will clog the spray nozzles. 3) Purely as a matter of convenience: use a sharpie-permanent marker and mark the sizes on the spray nozzles so that you can clearly see the sizes. The sizes are marked in the tiniest print on the inside and they are virtually impossible to see without a magnifying glass. Good luck...

Surprisingly good for such a low price.
I've used and owned other hvlp and airless sprayers before, and I am surprisingly impressed with this one, for the price. I was concerned that you can't adjust the airflow, only the fluid amount but after using it, I found that this wasn't an issue anyway. I sprayed 30 year old, painted, kitchen cabinets that had been lightly sanded and it came out as smooth as you can expect for older cabinet doors that weren't in great shape. At first, I sprayed the primer (Behr cabinet and trim primer) a little too thin. I was worried about going to heavy and getting drips and runs. but it turns out that I could have gone heavier. Then I did two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald trim paint, alkyd enamel water-based paint. Again, the first coat was probably a little lighter than necessary but by time I put on the second coat, I did go slower to get a heavier spray and it covered very well with no runs. I did have the cabinet doors laying flat, not hanging though so that might have helped the pain level out. The paint does need to be thinned considerably. The manufacturer recommends no more than 1/2 pint of water per gallon -- I'm not sure what I used but it was closer to a 1/2 pint per quart, in order to get it thin enough. You must use the thinning funnel to test how long it takes for the paint to drain from it to make sure you have it thinned enough. I thinned it to about 50 seconds until the cup was empty. However, on the primer, I didn't thin it quite as much and the tip clogged up a couple of times and it spat out large drops of primer so had to thin it a little more. Be sure to practice if you've never used and hvlp sprayer before. Do some nice, even passes, overlapping the previous pass by 50%. Start the sprayer when it's pointed just OFF of the piece your painting and continue across and end off the other side of the piece. Do not start and stop it on the thing you're painting itself (unless it's very large, like a house or fence) otherwise it will get too heavy where you do the turn around. I'd recommend this for smaller projects: shutters, doors, garage door, cabinets, furniture, maybe a deck -- but I'd go with a much faster Airless sprayer for larger things, like a wood fence, house, shed etc. This goes slower than an airless and you'd constantly need to be filling the cup with paint to finish the project. I definitely would NOT use it to paint walls in a room, it's way slower than a roller. I'd recommend using it for a closet though, since it's more difficult to manuever a roller in a small space. It uses surprisingly little paint to get good coverage though. I used under 1 gallon to cover both sides of 27 cabinet doors, 9 drawer faces and all the cabinet faces. I was surprised that's all it used. Overall, it works great for the price but, as with anything, a lot depends on the user's experience, comfort level and willingness to learn and practice.

Paid for itself in one day.
I bought this sprayer to treat a new fence. It turned out to be the right tool for the job. It works like a carburetor attached to blow dryer. The smaller the nozzle, the finer the mist. The trigger turns on the blow dryer, while it also regulates the fluid flow. There is and adjustable stop for setting the maximum flow. I sprayed undiluted BLO onto cedar pickets. The smallest nozzle with the flow valve 2/3 open provide the best result. I treated both sides of an 80 ft fence in four hours. Only had to brush the tops of the boards. Clean up was an easy five minutes job. I am happy with the results.

The rating is not really about the product. It could be great for all I know. It was advertised on Amazon UK but the device is for US users with US voltage and US plug so a non-starter in the UK.

The device burned in my hand after three minutes or less of the first use
