When using this wet lube do I also need to use bike oil or can I just use this product without applying other oil?

This is the lubricant for your chain Thomas. Before you apply this one your chain, using the Mc Off Bike Cleaner with the brush. After that, using a dry towel or nice and clean paper to give your chain dry first. Then apply this wet lube in the wet weather like snowing or raining. It helps a lot, without creating dirty chains. I am really satisfied with this product.

Is there a way to chek if your chain needs lube?

It's best as a thing you do every once in a while as it'll help the parts last Ionger. Best to do after cleaning your chain/gears with Muc-off degreaser and then dried with Muc-off water disperser. Seeing as we're having dry weather is recommend dry lube (yellow) as this drys as a film and not like a liquid like this does

I dont know this,but is really good for wet weather!!!

after using a cassette cleaner, how often would you use this?

I clean my chain/cassette once every two weeks - proper clean/degrease. Average 400km cycling per week. I put on just enough to stop any small noise.
