The wool feels proper — not that itchy cardboard-thin stuff — and once you shape it a bit it sits exactly how a beret should. The little leather band around the edge gives it a cleaner, more “real” look too, not floppy or loose. Sizing was pretty straightforward. It came a bit stiff out of the package, but that’s normal for berets. Gave it a bit of handling and a light steam and it shaped itself nicely. Looks decent on both men and women (we all tried it on for a laugh), and honestly it has that classic British military vibe without looking like you’re trying too hard. If you want a proper-looking beret for fashion, cosplay, work, or whatever reason, this one is definitely nicer than most of the generic ones online. Bit too dark green (khaki)
Beret was well made but unfortunately it was much darker than the picture. Needed to be 1 shade lighter, but will hopefully be ok for one parade.

Si tratta del primo basco di modello "militare" (cioè, in pratica, con il "picciolo" rasato) che acquisto, ma sono un appassionato di baschi "civili" e ne ho di diversi marchi e qualità. Questo mi sembra un prodotto di buona qualità, anche in considerazione del suo costo estremamente basso. Mi è arrivata una taglia 60 (forse in realtà un pochino più stretto?): io porto il 55! stringendo il laccetto al massimo, mi resta comunque leggermente largo, ma in modo accettabile; tanto più che lo indosso per gusto personale e non per rispettare qualche regolamento... Non ho capito come scegliere la taglia! a parte questo, tutto bene! (aggiorno: era segnalato come taglia unica)
