These are very durable shears that help with all of my trimming needs.

I was really happy with this tool. So I ordered one again when its blades had become dull. I received a defective one with bent blades. Amazon replaced it with new one promptly. The new one works OK, but not as good as the one I used to have. It seems that its quality has gone down past few years. However, it is still very good tool to trim hard-to reach hedges.

This morning I put my new hedge shear to the test. I started at 6 am and trimmed overgrown lemon trees, pomegranate and grape vines. I used the hedge shears for 5 hours, from the ground and on a 10 foot step ladder. It cut like butter,it is light weight so your arms don't tire out too fast. I am very happy with this purchase and this hedge shear should last me a very long time. Again, a worthwhile purchase for some one with a large property with heavy brush.

I LOVE this cutter! Any one who needs to get their flower beds ready for winter by cutting back perennials will love it too! No need to bend over any more, just place the cutter @ the base of the flower & snip.I highly recommend it!

Let me start by stating that I am an avid gardener and have purchased many pieces of gardening tools over my 30 years of gardening. Some great and some I wouldn't consider "tools" at all. I purchased these shears in 2022 based on reviews, and these fall in the category of not being considered a tool. Straight out of the Amazon box, they seemed to be sharp and cut fairly well, but very soon after they were not cutting through branches but shredding them. Texas sage have fairly skinny branches and felt this should have easily cut through them. Nope, shredded the branches. My Dwarf Myrtle branches are so skinny the blade just bent the branches between the blades and didn't even cut them. My ruellia would sometimes get clean cut and other times get caught between the blades and torn off. Rosemary bush was sometime cut and sometimes shredded. When I used the extension to the full length the shears were wobbly and wouldn't cut properly. The only good thing was that they are lightweight and the extension feature works well. But it's twice the work because it's not good to have branches shredded so I had to go back and clean cut the ends of the shredded branches with pruners. So, I stopped using them, and bought another hedge shear. Oh, I tried sharpening the blade and adjusting the tension knob. It still was inconsistent in it's cutting. I kept telling myself I need to write a review to share my experience. Maybe I got a dud, and maybe they're all made the same.

I use this for pruning my apple tree. I like the sharpness and it also have a little extension which was a bonus.
