Very happy with my purchase as a Christmas present for my husband. Quick delivery. Great packaging. He needed a separate phone insert to suit one of his phones and the communication with Divevolk customer service has been exceptional. He is looking for a great product for underwater filming and photos and this is by far the best that he has tested from a friend with superb results.

This is an amazing piece of kit which made taking great photos with my iPhone 13 a doddle. It’s made of very high quality materials and feels very sturdy. The touchscreen works like a dream and allows you to use all of the functions of your phone underwater. I used to use a GoPro for underwater images and this makes that completely redundant.. the quality is much better (as the low light photography on the iPhone is far superior) and there’s no messing around having to transfer photos afterwards. Customer service was also excellent as I accidentally bought the wrong bracket and lens kit (Amazon don’t make it that clear so make sure you get the one that fits!) but they swapped it without any questions and dispatched it very quickly. Highly highly recommended!!

Nothing to complain about. Does what it says. Having touchscreen functionality is great. I followed the instructions, took care of the case and it, in turn, took good care of my smartphone. Came back from vacation with some amazing photos and videos. Don't forget to test it with the insert instead of an actual phone on the first dive, to make sure it's not leaking. This is the usual advice with any protective cases. Also I want to mention that, though the instructions say to remove the screen protector, that's not necessary if diving to depths less than ~20m. The screen becomes less responsive at around 22m losing all touch responsiveness ~26m. So plan ahead, and if not diving too deep I recommend the simplicity of not removing/replacing the screen protector.

There are several benefits to taking your mobile phone under water with you: it's a very good camera, it's an even better video camera and it's a fantastic emergency communication device. This housing works really well and I refrained from giving it 5 stars only because of problems inherent in any underwater phone housing: the touchscreen works but is not pleasant to use, not having access to buttons is a limitation and the screen membrane is fragile. On the other hand, this particular housing is very well built and is compatible with a bewildering array of phones. It is likely you will keep it longer than the phone you bought it for and that it will be compatible with the next one you get. Going back to the communication thing, between many dive sites being close enough to shore to have cellular coverage and the appearance of satellite radios in mobile phones, this allows you to have the best possible rescue device in your pocket while you dive. It is also one that has a built-in GPS (on the surface only) and even marine charts options. Once on the surface, many phones are water resistant enough to use without the housing, which would be necessary to conduct a conversation or use more complex software such as a messaging application. Do be careful with the gasket on the door, it is easy to have unseen hairs or dust compromise the seal so it needs a careful inspection and cleaning before closing.

The case is really well built, and does a fantastic job, It's really easy to use. To add to that I have recently upgraded my phone and got in touch with Divevolk about getting a new insert as this was not available on Amazon UK. The customer service was exceptional, and they managed to ship me one out prior to me going away. What was really impressive was how quick and simple and well built the unit is. I've used a Sea Frogs housing with a GH5 before, and it was just a bit of a faff, and huge to travel with, this on the other hand is simple, small and does a fantastic job. It is so quick and simple to flick between Phot and Video, and the results speak for themselves.

If you travel often, or do anything in the water I recommend this case! It was packaged so well & securely for travel, it has multiple phone holding inserts (if you are someone who changes phones regularly or more than one phone uses). And was so secure. I was shopping for water proof phone cases it landed on this one from YouTube and Amazon reviews - due to the fact that it can be used for many sizes of phones). I got so many great photos - and the case does not impact photo quality at all (the case is on for the picture on the beach of the pigs and everything is still crisp and clean!). I took so many great underwater videos too; sound seemed clear but obviously a little muffled when underwater). Not a drop of water came into it during my whole week of adventures. This case is a little more expensive but if you look at it as an investment I would definitely order this over some of the cheaper cases with mixed reviews.

Es una maravilla de housing! Sumamente práctico, seguro y sencillo de usar! Vamos por partes: La calidad de las fotografías depende de tu habilidad y la calidad de la cámara de tu teléfono y éstas han mejorado muchísimo! Sin llegar a niveles de una cámara profesional, para la gran mayoría de los buzos, es más que suficiente. La comodidad del housing divevolk por su tamaño y la facilidad para usarlo, es verdaderamente una maravilla. La principal ventaja del housing divevolk es su membrana touch que te permite usar tu teléfono sin necesidad de interfaces que pudieran limitar la capacidad del mismo, eso es: puedes hacer con tu teléfono absolutamente todo lo que que tú modelo te permita hacer en superficie! Yo aún estoy experimentando si tomar fotos en raw o ya procesadas, si en modo Pro fijando la velocidad de obturador o dejando que la cámara decida, en todos los casos, la curva de aprendizaje es corta porque es el teléfono/cámara que uso cotidianamente! El saber que puedo cambiar de celular y con solo mandar imprimir en 3D el nuevo adaptador, puedo seguir usando el housing, es otra gran ventaja! Por otro lado, la membrana touch funciona muy bien pero no es como si no pusieras nada frente a tu pantalla, imagina que le colocas una protección a tu pantalla extra gruesa, es normal esperar que la sensibilidad baje, es casi imposible activar el teléfono con la huella dactilar. En lo personal inicié cambiando a patrón y funciona bien pero lo más sencillo fue desbloquear con un nip. Con la membrana, el pulsar es muy fácil y el desplazar no tanto (sobre todo desde los bordes), eso se acentúa ligeramente a profundidad. Considerando que es más fácil pulsar que desplazar, hay que reconfigurar y reacostumbtarse a usar alguna formas del teléfono como el desbloqueo, activar la cámara, desactivarla o apagar la pantalla. Nada muy dramático y eso facilita el uso bajo el agua. Finalmente, yo hoy uso un celular de gama media, pero con este housing y por mi pasión por el buceo, empiezo a considerar mi futuro celular en función de la cámara! Se me pasaba! Es fundamental que incluyan el adaptador/soporte para el filtro, los que han tomado fotografía subacuática, sabran por qué, el mismo soporte se puede usar para una luz externa o para fijar el housing en una charola. También recomiendo mucho adquirir su caja para proteger el housing. Buceen seguros!

This housing has completely changed the way I capture underwater moments. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the touchscreen functionality means I can use my phone just like normal—no special app required. I’ve taken it down to 130 feet with zero issues, and it’s held up perfectly. Super solid construction and reliable performance. I actually use this setup more than anything else now because it’s just so convenient—photos go straight to my phone and are ready to share. I highly recommend getting the filters too—they make a big difference in color correction. All around, a fantastic purchase for anyone who loves diving and wants hassle-free underwater photography.
