High price compared to similar products - 100mg basic dose per capsule
If you want to give CoQ10 a go, you might want to start with a 100mg to 200mg dose which is a normal dosage for a variety of conditions. These are a reasonable dose at 100mg a capsule, seem to have a lot of marketing behind them and be aiming at the quality market. They are however at least twice the price of many of the Amazon best sellers per daily 100mg dose. Like many people with chronic fatigue, I have tried Coenzyme Q10 at various times. I did so first when encouraged to by my GP, on the grounds she felt that some people responded to it. It may or may not have helped me - I was also encouraged at the time to take a general multivitamin and mineral, to take magnesium, to improve my sleeping patterns, to eat regularly and to build up my physical strength slowly. I was found to have a vitamin D deficiency and also took vitamin D supplements. Improvements can take a long time. The ME Association, patient champion of those with ME/CFS, is sceptical about the value of CoQ10, having reviewed the evidence. It says on its website: "Co-enzyme Q10 is known as a coenzyme because it helps other enzymes in the body to carry out their normal functions. In relation to muscle fatigue, it is involved in energy producing chemical pathways inside the mitochondria – parts of the cell where energy in the form of a chemical called ATP is produced. It also has antioxidant activity. So there are clearly some theoretical reasons why CoQ10 might be helpful in ME/CFS. "However, despite all the claims being made for CoQ10, there is very little scientific evidence linking deficiency with disease. Neither is there much evidence of benefit in diseases where it is sometimes recommended such as heart failure, mitochondrial muscle diseases, and Parkinson’s disease (where decreased levels have been found in the spinal fluid). The same situation currently applies to ME/CFS."

A good product but a little expensive
For 42p/day you get 100mg of CoQ10, which is a good standard dosage but still a lower dosage than what I get from my go-to brand, and is also higher priced by around 20%. This is a fairly premium brand which has nice branding and good quality glass bottles, so I do believe that you're paying more for this, and yet the product itself is no more effective than many others. Both myself and my father have been using CoQ10 supplements for some time now and generally follow the dosage recommendations on Examine.com and follow their summaries of clinical trials. They suggest dosages between 90-200mg/day based on trial data. So this supplement does still meet recommended dosages and I cannot fault it for that. CoQ10 has been noted to be reduced in concentration in the cells of people who are diagnosed with depression and those who take statin drugs, therefore it is highly recommended for people who fall into these categories to supplement it. Clinical trials show improvements in Fibromyalgia symptoms, a halving in some migraine symptoms, a reduction in cardiac tissue damage from some anti-cancer drugs and has been shown to be protective in persons who have heart disease and/or have had a heart attack (resulting in fewer repeat incidences). Of course, do your own research, talk to your doctor and follow their advice, and read the clinical trial data collected by Examine.com. If any of the above ailments apply to you, I would highly recommend purchasing a regular supply of this supplement and to make it a consistent part of your daily regimen. However, considering the cost, we will still stick with other, cheaper brands, and ones that provide higher dosages.

Very small capsules!
I’ve not taken any Tom Oliver Nutrition products before but I must admit to being impressed by the professional appearance of this bottle of CoQ10 capsules in a 1-a-day formular. My Chiropractor has recommended I take CoQ10 so I’m keen to see how they’ll help with my health. The capsules are very small, easy to swallow and are suitable for vegans. There are 60 capsules in the brown glass bottle with a firmly attached seal inside and a strong metal screw cap, and they have a long shelf life of 03/2025. As one capsule is recommended per day they’ll last for two months. I haven’t noticed if they’re making a difference yet but it’s early days and would imagine they’ll have a cumulative effect.

Helping with fatigue
Heard alot of good things about Q10 having positive effects on the body and decided to get these for my mum. She's suffering alot with physical fatigue, feeling drained after the simplest tasks. My mum found these to improve her condition slightly. She can do a little bit more than normal, which is great. Hopefully over time it'll help more! Will definitely buy more These have a along expiry date, capsules are a reasonable size, no issues swallowing them. Just make sure you take with adequate amount of water. No adverse effects and found them easy on the digestive system.

seems expensive, but higher quality means higher price
Another M.E/chonic fatigue sufferer here who has been taking Co-Q10 for quite some time after hearing positive reports about the benefits, so it's always good to try out a new brand and see how it fares in helping my day to day energy and keeping the levels well balanced. And so far so good! The bottle is nice and sturdy, and the capsules are easy to swallow and leave no after taste. And it's letting me feel more 'balanced' in the help it's given me so far in the short time so hopefully that will continue with the 2 months supply you get in each bottle.

Good product
Tom Oliver supplements are always of good quality and I am sure these will be too, they come in a quality dark glass bottle with a good lid, my only slight criticism is the amount of product in the jar, these are small capsules but it make them feel over priced, they’re not really it’s just an impression.
