Good moulds for anyone looking for cheap weights. They are easy to use, and the cement does not stick provided you oil the mould. The weights are surprisingly exact. I have made a number of weights and have found that they tend to be less than 5% of the supposed weight. The 45 lbs are less than 2 lbs. That is a variance that you often see in professional weights used by gyms. Your result will, of course, be affected by what cement and sand you use, but I have been impressed by the result and how exact the weights are.

I have already made over 150 lbs of weights within the first weekend of getting these molds. It is completely worth the price to have nice-looking concrete weights! There are many ways to make concrete durable all over youtube. The molds have been durable, even the 20 kg mold which was the one I was concerned about. Even after the initial price of the molds, you will be able to make weights at a fraction of the market price right now.

These are a steal for $60 for what you get considering competitors charging around double for around the same thing. I got the lb version with the hole for the pvc. They feel very sturdy, haven't had a chance to use them yet but they feel like they will hold up well. They ship from the Ukraine so they may take awhile but they were shipped wrapped with a ton of plastic wrap, almost too much lol.

I am using 1 inch pvc pipe cut a little taller than the mold. Triangular file to make indents around pvc, clear tape in small strips to hold pvc into the middle. Tape both ends too, so concrete won’t be in pvc. Silicone spray for the mold to release. I’m using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete. My first attempt, I should have left the 45, 55 lb molds longer to dry. The thinner ones dry faster 25lb and smaller.

Great and cheaper alternative to standard weights. Im having a hard time getting the 45lb one to work out. Seems like it’s too much for the mold. I’ve tried two times and it’s too much.

Top Formen, so gelingt das Selbstgießen auch ohne großartiges Rechnen. Beim 1. Mal habe ich noch zuviel Wasser genutzt und mich dannach penibel an die vom Betonhersteller vorgegebene Menge gehalten, dann ging auch alle entsprechend der KG-Zahl in Trockenmasse der Betonmischung rein. Man muss wirklich bis zum Rand füllen, dann passt es perfekt. Zusätzlich habe ich die Scheiben noch mit Draht verstärkt (siehe Bild). Tipp: Die Rohre am besten mit kleinen Gewebandstreifen nach innen (!) befestigen, dann hat man kein störendes Klebeband auf der Rückseite.

Comprati per risparmiare alla fine ci ho rinunciato e ho comprato dei dischi normali. Realizzare due dischi in cemento che abbiano dei pesi quanto più simili possibile tra loro non è semplicissimo, devi pesare le dosi e replicarle sempre uguali ad ogni nuovo disco. In oltre per trovare un tubo dal diametro di circa 50mm per utilizzarli su un bilanciere olimpico ho dovuto cercare a lungo e per mantenerlo perfettamente centrato all'interno della forma del disco mi sono dovuto inventare un'ulteriore attrezzo, il che rende il tutto ancora più complicato. Una volta fatti, quando non li usate i dischi saranno la prima fonte di polvere nella vostra home gym e quando li userete, la stessa sembrerà un cantiere per quanta polvere e i residui grossolani lasciano cadere ad ogni ripetizione. Non fate come me, che per spendere meno alla fine ci ho rimesso di sanità mentale. Non comprate questi ma comprate dei dischi.

Les poids coorespondent aux attentes.. les moules sont coupés, ca donne peu de prise c'est pas simple démouler, ca reste solide, aucune casse. Attention au 20kg, Coulé au ras du moule on avoisine les 25kg (26k6 pour le plus lourds). J'utilise du beton fibré et Arceau en fer à béton pour plus de solidité et fait vibré le tout après coulage.
