Good product
Great price for dependable product. They don't sound as good as Elixirs... but nothing does. And these are 1/3 of the price.

Buy The Strings That Suit Your Guitar
I'm seeing some people complain about the 80/20 lights sounding "twangy" yes that's what happens when you have bright tone woods like a spruce top and walnut body. I use these on my Cedar top Mahogany body guitar and perfectly balance it out giving me that old school woody warm folk sound. These strings will not maintain their brightness for long no brand of 80/20 will, it's just the nature of the alloy. You'll probably get 10-15 hours of brightness depending on intensity of playstyle and then they will become more mellowed out. If you want something consistent and long-lasting go with phos bronze, there's a reason why it was invented. PB will also work better with brighter guitars since it's more mid dominant.

Too short for archtop acoustics.
Nice strings. I always use DR 13's for my dreadnought guitars and wanted to try a set of 11's for my 64 Harmony archtop. The Martin's are too short and the D and G string didn't get the wound part enough around the post. I will change them. Just thought I'd share that info.

The best sounding acoustic strings
Having tried many brands of acoustic strings, I always find myself going back to Martin Strings. They sound great and last a long time. I would recommend these for any acoustic guitar player.

Great budget version of Martin acoustic strings!
I've played my share of acoustic strings, including D'Addario. Martin SP Phosphor Bronze were always my favorite. I used to own a nice Martin D15. Haven't played in a while and coming back wanted just something to throw on a "beater" guitar I got for the camping trips (Yamaha FG Junior travel guitar) and also for my cheapo solid top Mitchell, which sounds very nice. These strings feel and sound great on both guitars, there's just nothing wrong with them. I'd probably go back to SP if I start playing more, I always felt that the bronze-plated cores add something to the tone and longevity, but these are just nice. I don't really get the complaints about these "not feeling right". I am coming from not playing for years, so don't have my callouses yet, so it hurts, but that's not the strings' fault :)

Haven't played for quite a while and bought these for my Martin HD28V. Sounds great and not too hard on the fingers. Good for the price.

Suono ottimo appena messe, tendono a perdere la vivacità dopo qualche settimana. Tengono l'accordatura abbastanza. Ottimo compromesso
