At this time, the Outland Living Firebowls are CSA Approved for use as a decorative appliance. Unfortunately, for this reason, we do not manufacture cooking grates for the product.

Can I use it to warm up a tent?

Our portable Fire Cube is designed to be used outdoors, as is. A minimum safety clearance is outlined in the manual, which must be met per CSA standards. It is not designed to be safely used in enclosed spaces such as tents.

can the lava rocks be left in the fire pit with the cover on while storing or transporting?

Yes, the lava rocks may be left in the appliance during storage and transport as long as there is a cover or lid to contain them.

Can I use a 15 lb. bottle of propane?

Yes if it has same connection. I have a 5 lb one I use.
