ROCKBROS Photochromic Sports Sunglasses for Men Women Cycling UV Protection

The glasses are definitely photochromic. Although it doesn't get extremely dark on bright sunlight it's dark enough. It's my main cycling glasses. I've logged in over 1000 Mike's with the glasses and the only fogging issue I experienced is when I'm also using my thicker balaclava under my helmet. I also use the glasses cycling in the evening to make sure no bugs (gnats or mosquitos etc go in my eye) the glades are definitely priced on the cheaper side. I highly recommend them....

These fit more like safety glasses than bicycle gear, but they do the job. The lenses are very light, compared to other auto-darkening shades I've had before. Probably need a different pair for bright sunlight. These are good for overcast days or dawn/dusk cycling.

These glasses are just what I needed for my bike riding. I have cochlear implants and many glasses frames don't work well with them These ear pieces are thin and fit flat on my head so minimal interference. They also don't interfere with the helmet straps. I love the photochromic lenses. I was surprised to see that a small snap-in lens holder was included but not mentioned in the descriptions. If you wear eyeglasses, you could have lenses made to fit this attachment. A nice bonus, but I didn't need it. Considering the price I paid I consider this to be an excellent value.

I’ve only worn these once but so far I’m very happy with them. They are light weight and very comfortable. I wore these on a late afternoon bike ride. The lens visibility was excellent. There was no distortion in the lens and the frameless design around the bottom of the lens gave me a clear unobstructed view. I hardly noticed I was wearing them which Is something I look for in a pair of sunglasses that I will wear for hours at a time. The photochromatic feature of the lens worked perfectly. The first part of my ride, the lens darkened and as the sun was setting, the lens adjusted more towards clear. If you’re like me and are looking for improved visibility for different light conditions, you may want to give these a try.

I do quite a bit of riding- gravel, and mountain bike mainly. I’m training for 100 mile mountain bike so getting a lot of miles annd time in saddle. Many of my friends have $100 plus glasses, and I have also tried expensive and cheap glasses. For the money I would say these are some of the best I’ve come across, extremely comfortable and lightweight. they do darken a little bit, but not too much, which is great when you’re riding trails and in shady areas. For me, they give good protection from the sun. One last thing to note is that they allow for good airflow so they do not fog for early morning human rides. That was the main issue I had on my other, but these also give plenty of protection from wind.

Overall these are nice glasses. I like the fit and photochromic feature. However I wish they got darker. I wouldn't recommend these for longer rides (5+ hours) in bright sun. After a long sunny day my eyes were fatigued and irritated, due to the less-than-desired tint. I still plan on wearing these for shorter rides or dimmer days.

I regularly bike along a major road to get to my gym, and besides all the cars there are several construction sites right next to it. As a result, there’s always a lot of grit and debris in the air, and I was getting pretty annoyed with having to stop and rub my eyes to clear them, and always having them be bloodshot afterwards. So, I bought these, and they work great! Most importantly, they do a fantastic job of blocking debris. They’re large enough to cover my eyes (and then some) but aren’t so large as to be comical, and have totally solved my problem. Very rarely a teeny thing gets through but it’s far less of a problem. The reason it’s not 5 stars is because the sun-blocking effect isn’t very strong. This is fine for my purposes: I’m not biking into the sun and I’m biking home at night during the winter, so I don’t need/want a super strong blocking effect. Nevertheless, it could definitely cause problems for others. If you mainly care about blocking debris, get these (the lenses are super clear too!). If you’re also quite concerned with blocking the sun, look elsewhere. Maybe one of the tinted versions would do better? I got grey and clear. These are in the upper region of the price range too, but they’re clearly high quality and the case is sturdy. Fits well and are comfy too!

Work great, I've never used photochromic glasses before, but they adjust to keep the right level of shade quickly.

Me gustaron que cuando les da el sol si se obscurecen como dice. No le di 5 estrellas porque me lastiman un poco en la parte de la nariz no se si es porque son para hombre y me quedan grandes y yo que soy mujer tengo el rostro más pequeño o sea porque el plástico de esa parte es muy duro. Deberían sacar unos para mujer. Pero de ahí en fuera cumple con lo que dicen

Build quality is sturdy and looks premium. Photochromic effect is very gentle and turns mild black which is good for safety goggles.

Excellent glasses, sit comfortably, pleasant to the touch, made very well. I was pleasantly surprised by the package contents - a hard case, a case, a cloth, a box - everything is like that of "serious" brands.

C’est ma 3e paire de lunettes Rockbros et ma première en version photochromatique chez eux. Je dois dire que je suis agréablement surpris. Très bonnes lunettes pour les activités extérieures : légères, confortables et bien stables même en mouvement. La teinte s’ajuste rapidement et efficacement à la luminosité, ce qui les rend particulièrement pratiques dans des environnements changeants. Je les utilise principalement pour le parapente, où la visibilité est essentielle, et elles remplissent parfaitement leur rôle. Quelques petits constats : j’aurais apprécié qu’elles soient un poil plus grandes pour une meilleure couverture du champ de vision, surtout sur les côtés. Aussi, la teinte rouge/brune peut devenir assez vive en plein soleil, presque rouge fluo, ce qui peut surprendre au début, mais on s’y habitue. Bref, un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour ceux qui cherchent des lunettes photochromatiques performantes sans se ruiner. Je recommande!!!
