Frosty windshields are an annoyance that always seems to happen when my high school kids are in a rush to get to school. While using a credit card is effective enough to clear a frost-covered windshield in a pinch, the LoyaForba Windshield Cover has made mornings a lot more bearable for my impatient kids. The cover completely covers my son's Prius windshield, and stays in place all night - even on windy evenings - thanks to the door frame tabs, elastic band that goes around the side mirrors, and the hooks that fit right into the wheels. Putting it on and removing it takes seconds, and once removed, his windshield is perfectly clear, making it safe for him to drive in the chilly morning hours. The cover is lightweight, dries quickly, and comes with a pouch to store in when not in use. While it's not the most durable feeling cover I've owned, it certainly suits our needs in California where we only get a few frosty weeks per year and no snowfall - well, as long as our kid remembers to put the cover on. Overall, it's a decent quality cover for the price and something I would purchase again for our other car.

I live in KY where the snow and ice isn't Michigan-level, but it happens. I didn't want to fool with a whole-car cover. My dad has one for his Volvo, and when there's heavy snow he had to clean the whole cover of snow before he can even remove it. to me, that defeats the purpose, so I tried this product. It's great. For my 2012 Kia Soul, it fully covers the front windshield, going almost a foot up onto the roof and down over the hood where decent magnets hold it in place. There are straps that hook over the mirrors, flaps that you shut inside the doors, and straps that hook on the front wheels to hold it in place. It works great. It takes a couple of minutes to install, and not much longer to remove when covered with snow. Boom, clear windshield. It folds up nicely in the small pouch included. Don't hesitate to pay the extra couple of bucks for the set with the mirror covers. Again, easy to install and remove, and having clear mirrors with no scraping in icy weather is a real safety bonus. If installing and removing it sounds like trouble, just think of times you've had to scrape ice off your windshield and mirrors, and the potential damage to your wiper blades (which sell for dear coin these days) as you tried to free them because they were frozen to the glass. Then imagine spending a few minutes installing the covers when you know Winter weather is coming, and whipping the covers off the next morning with minimal effort. I'm glad I bought this set.

It took me a min to figure out how to secure everything. It did cover all the important parts of the windshield. Once I figured it out, it was easy to put on. The next morning, my windshield was good. Maybe I will try when weather is really cold.. Update: it snowed, had to go to work, ripped when I tried taking it off of the side mirrors. Does not give too much leeway or pull room with snow on it. Windshield was very protected!! Just wish the side mirrors band were made of Velcro instead. With the weight of the snow, it was not easy getting it off and it ripped. If it’s already windy, very hard to get the flaps to stay inside the door without them being weighted, so when you go to close the door, the side flaps fly back out. Hooks are a bit thick and hard to find a spot thick enough to attach it to.

Since receiving this item, we haven't had another snowfall, so I am not sure if it will work well. I like this item because being disabled, scraping snow and ice of my windshield is difficult for me. With this I should be able to just slide the cover off and hopefully no snow, and little is. It has magnets to help hold it in place, as well as straps and you can also put a small flap on each side and close the front door on it. Looks well-made and should hold up, Easy to install, just lay it on the front windshield and attaché it via the flaps or straps and you're done. It folds up nicely and comes with a storage bag.

I have used this maybe a handful of times this winter. The only thing that can be better, is the stitching. We are expecting snow again and when I went to attach the strap to the one wheel, it snapped. So I just made a temporary knot to get it secure.

Fits well, but is a major PITA to put up. If there is any sort of wind.. it makes putting it up 100% harder. This item is super thin and flimsy so it blows around in any sort of wind or slight breeze. The magnet doesn't work very well and there is no weight at all in the inner flaps that go in the doors so you need to be outside the door holding it down to prevent it from flapping up in the breeze. Adding weights to the inner flaps would go a long way to making this less stressful. Especially when you are trying to put this up at work or home while the snow is blowing around.

Great window shield cover. The only downside fall is theirs nothing on the flaps that go inside the car. If the wind gets under it it can cause the cover to pull out. Other then that perfect size and the side mirror covers are a plus.

This snow cover works great and makes clearing snow in the morning much faster. The material is on the thinner side, but it performs well. Installation is very easy, since I have a smaller car, I attach the hooks to my rims. The magnets hold firmly, and tucking the top portion into the front doors keeps the wind from lifting the cover. It also folds up easily and fits neatly into the provided storage bag.

This window cover is magnetic which helps me out by having it magnet to my hood to keep it in place so the wind doesn't pick up and take it away untill I get it all in place on the window. When taking the window cover off the two side magnet to themselves so it's super easy to fold. Looks good on the window and I would recommend this product to anyone!!

It’s about an inch to small for a Dodge caravan. It fits perfect on a Kia van.

I bought this for my husband‘s truck so that he does not have to scrape his windshield. He absolutely loves it and says he wishes he had one years ago.

Elastic broke off after third use.
