Hershey's Pot of Gold Assorted Milk and Dark Chocolates Premium Collection, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 2)

When I buy chocolates for a special occasion or to show my affections, I always go to a local artisan shop (my area is blessed with many skilled chocolatiers) so that I can get something with uncommon taste and quality. And no, these are not those chocolates. However, as a tasty treat to have around the house for whatever reason -or none at all- these are a fantastic choice! The two-pack deal made these an incredible value, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I do not recommend these for Valentine's Day with a serious partner or for trying to coax forgiveness. These chocolates are nothing extraordinary; they are not "proclaim your love" chocolates. If you can't find a specialty chocolate shop for those purposes, or one that your wallet agrees with [enough], Lindt is usually a pretty good bet. But to light up someone's day with a casual and affordable surprise? Go for it. These are great friend and family member gifts for anything from your child's recital to visiting an elder relative you don't get to see often enough. Or maybe you just want something pretty and delicious around the house that's not so expensive you almost feel bad for eating it (ahem, like me). Now, in case anyone is curious about the variety, PER BOX: Milk Chocolate Truffle - 4, Almond Creme - 4 (dark), Vanilla Caramel - 4 (milk), Caramel and Almonds - 2 (dark), Pecan Caramel Cluster - 4 (milk), Chocolate Caramel - 4 (milk), Dark Chocolate Truffle - 4, Dark Chocolate with Hazelnut (2).

I ordered this product and it was delivered in a carboard box wrapped in quilted foil and a cold pack (which was hot) because it was left outside my door in 90 plus tempertures. It all was so melted you could not recognized any pieces. I am extremely upset because I cannot talk to anyone at amazon they donot give you an option to contact them in individual manner. I will not be ordering perishables from them again it is wasted money.

These are my favorite chocolates EVER. I ordered the pack of 2 & I paid the special ice pack shipping & I was so disappointed when I got these completely melted!! I would recommend pursuing these during winter only…

The selection is nothing to brag about, but the flavor of the pieces is consistently decent. Not great as a gift.

This is actually decent chocolate from Hershey's. They may make some of the best selling chocolate in the US but it isn't very good. The mouth feel is very grainy and not too chocolatey. Pot of Gold Chocolate is smooth and tasty.

Every time I see these Hershey's Pot of Gold assortment chocolates, I be having sweet tooth cravings, expecially for something with chocolate involved. Got these within 2 days and ate them up 2 days later. The next time I get this if I had enough money to afford for it, I should buy an entire supply of these chocolates but I won't be eating them up in one day or one month. Best off, save them. Extremely disappointed in these....each one tasted just like the previous piece...boring, sadly...waste of money...will never order these ever again...too bad we can't return!

Bought this item as a Gold Box special. Now understand why it was on sale. This is not good chocolate. Treat yourself right and buy a product that actually tastes great. Which isn't this.
