Folding Bracket

This is an expanding miter saw station. I purchased these folding shelf brackets to function as the support for the wings. I find this really strong and secure. A single wind will hold the weight of a ten foot hanging off the end while holding down the other with two fingers needs the base of the saw. Which isn’t that much weight, but it is an unusual situation in which these are put to the test. The don’t sag, which I was worried about and hold the 90 angle well enough. I do wish they would were thicker, at least I wanted them to feel thicker, but they’re holding up well. The material is painted steel. My needs have been met. They fit and fold perfectly when I need to put the station away. And when opened support the weight of my work pieces and timber. I would recommend these, I see hundreds of more uses for them. Could be compatible with a lot of scenarios!

I wanted to create a folding workbench in my office and was successful with these brackets in tandem with an IKEA tabletop. Installation wasn't too challenging, just basic drywall anchors and making sure things are level. Be warned this only came with masonry anchors that don't work in drywall, so you'll have to provide your own anchors. Overall these seem durable and like they'll be able to do the job they were advertised to do.

I love these. I took the 24x36 doors from my old workbench and turned them into folding shelves for the side walls of my garage. I left the handles on the doors too make them easier to pull up. There's been quite a bit of weight placed on them and they were solid.

These brackets work as described. My Blackstone has very limited prep space. And the space it does have gets really hot. And I used these brackets with a makeshift shelf I put tighter with some cuts off from another project. And so far so good. They say they can hold up to 175lbs. But not too sure about that. But time will tell. And I have them outside. So we will see how they hold up to the Phoenix summers. But for the price, can’t beat it with a stick.

Good sturdy shelf brackets.

I installed these folding shelf brackets for a wall-mounted workspace shelf, and they’ve worked out really well so far. The biggest advantage is the folding design, which lets you create a shelf that can be lifted up when not in use. This is perfect for small spaces, garages, or work areas where you want flexibility without losing functionality. The brackets feel solid and well-built. Once locked into place, they hold the shelf firmly with no noticeable wobble or shifting. I’ve tested them with moderate weight, and they’ve stayed stable and secure. Installation was straightforward. As long as you hit studs or use proper anchors, mounting them is simple. The locking mechanism is easy to engage and release, and it feels sturdy when both open and folded down. The black finish looks clean and matches well with most wood or metal shelving, giving it a modern, industrial look. A couple things to keep in mind: They must be properly anchored into studs or strong wall support for heavier loads Weight capacity depends heavily on installation quality and wall type Overall, these are a great solution for space-saving shelving and DIY projects. They’re strong, functional, and very useful when you need a fold-down work or storage surface.

I built a roll cart for my miter saw and these allow the saw to fold down and the cart to roll under my work bench. Paired with some drops casters I have a great way to have a mobile miter saw.

These are awesome.Easy to install and save space well made metal.

These brackets provide a perfect solution to a problem in my caravan/RV. With these brackets I was able to install legs that locked in place to support the bed which, due to a being only partially supported, was starting to sag. The brackts also enable the legs to be safely folded-up and locked in place when accessing the under bed storage. Win-win.

Seem well built and work well. Very happy with the purchase and would certainly buy them again.

Perfect for my application

It is not too sturdy. Won’t recommend it
