Overall these are very good mid range general purpose/bird watching binoculars worthy of being on your shortlist.Keep an eye on the pricing though.10x42 or 8x42 is generally a good choice for binoculars. They seem very well made overall and optically these really are impressive,you won’t be disappointed.My only disappointment is the eye relief is less than expected,I cant get a full field of view wearing my (rather thick lensed) glasses — maybe 80-90% view,having said that I’m glad I bought them.I’ve (rather harshly) deducted one star for the shorter than advertised eye relief which is very important to me personally and the possibly relatively high pricing. My advice is put them on your shortlist of other similar priced binoculars,there are so many to choose from including Viking/Hawke etc,I honestly couldn’t say whether or not these are the best value but they are very very nice indeed. 👍

For the price , 499.00 on average, the quality of the binoculars are very hard to beat, titanium body, rubber type coating, quality glass & coating from Japan, not China. As described the clarity edge to edge, locking finger wheel, material of construction etc are found on binoculars costing hundreds more and may not be comparable. If you want a unit with a higher brand with the same material etc pay more & go for it. A lifetime warranty and replacement parts under normal use without even a registration requirement is amazing! The outer box is high quality, who needs it ? The soft case is not vg , the company should rethink this. The neck strap attachment to body of binocular needs improvement, ok once in place . They are quality yet not light to carry around neck, a better padded strap my help, certainly a body strap, really no different then comparable units & better because of lighter and stronger titanium body (a more costly build. It's a 5 Star, I'm not rating a case, or should it be considered in my opinion.
