Would not recommend
Would not recommend. The three we bought showed different temperatures and humidity in the same environment.

Great product.
They work perfectly and they still do, and it's been some time now since the purchase. When I need more, which will be soon, I will buy them again. I use them in my reptile enclosures now, and also I used them first in an incubator to measure the temps and humidity within the containers the eggs were in vs the temp of the ambient air in the incubator. I used them to double check if the incubator itself was accurate, and also to see the temps of different shelves. Once hatched they are now montoring enclosures. Great product at a very affordable price. If u have reptiles, u know how expensive these creatures can be if u really want them to have a very good and enriching and stimulating roomy hm. It's nice to catch a brk and still get a quality product. U can use gorilla duct tape, just cut into a few sm strips and u can near about use that tape on any surface and it's sticking. Then hook it to the side of the enclosure or to exactly where u want it, even on a hide. U could do it a certain way as to make a loop pocket to slip the sensor into without sticking the tape to the sensor itself as it's pretty sticky. Jusy a little ways down from both ends, make a slit in the tape a little ways down on each side in the same place, but don't cut the piece of tape in half. Fold the inner part together sticky side to sticky side. Now the ends will be like 2 sm shoe strings. U can size it to ur needs if u need more grip at the top. It will be like a loop u stick to the wall or whatever, but ut would be very convenient if they had that little feature of coming with some simple holder. But u can either hide the sm square reader portion somewhere in the terranium nearby and easily disguise or hide it a bit, or it's got a long enough cord for u to run out of the enclosure to put them all on top of ur tank and make like a little mother board all ordered and/or labeled so as to know which is where and reading what, and then only have to glance one place to see them all. I like that they are sm and inconspicuous as pos instead of big and noticeable circle styled ones. The only way they could be better is to be wireless lol. Well worth the purchase.

A good product
I use these for my reptile tanks. I find them to be pretty much accurate. The only thing I am not a fan of is the really long cords, but you can easily tie that up. One other thing is that when I checked in the tank one day I noticed it had fallen and wasn't working anymore. It fell maybe foot. As it was in my beardies tank who is very active I would say that to prevent this in an active reptiles tank that you need to secure it very well.

It is highly inaccurate.
Right out of the box and they display nonsense. One has 79 humidity and 59 temp. The other 62 humidity and 40 temp, and the third 64 humidity and 99 temp. Is this a joke? How do you justify this fraud? Just because it is cheap doesn't mean it shouldn't work. People want to rely on these things. Come on people, stop this. Now I have to print a label, drive 20 miles to a UPS store and drop it off and return. So this costs me 4 times the money I paid for this junk. Enough!

The screens have poor QC and came with some dead batteries
When these arrived, two of them are dead, one of them had a messed up screen, and the other three looked okay. After switching the batteries around, I now have four of them functioning and looking normal, while one of them just has a messed up screen. You're supposed to be able to look at it straight on, but it has a weird viewing angle where you have to look at it at an odd angle for it to be legible. It also sucks that because two of them had completely dead batteries, and they were all probably manufactured and packaged at the same time, the batteries in the others are probably not far behind so I have to get new batteries for all of them which is an extra cost. I'm going to still give them a try though, because they were pretty cheap, they have probes, and their temperature and humidity readings are all pretty close to each other. If you're on a budget like me and you need a lot of them, I guess I recommend them, but if you're willing to spend a bit more money I would get something else. If these turn out to be trash I will not hesitate to replace them with more expensive ones.

Great value, accurate and recommended
These have been working great. I have 21 rescue critters of varying species who require all different temperatures and humidity levels so these probe style have helped. I texted with hand held heat gun and probe they seem pretty accurate and consistent. They are a great size, easy to read display. Fahrenheit or Celsius easy little button to change that, so far batteries last as well. The wire is plenty long to put where you need it then mount the display where you need it to see easily. Looks nice in and on the enclosures. I even use one for the feeder insect colony I keep.

Quality at bargain prices
I bought a combination hygrometer/thermometer for a greenhouse. During a heatwave with high humidity, it died quickly. That single unit cost more than these 3 units, and seemed no more accurate. After opening the package and giving them a while to acclimate, I was pleased with how consistent the measurements were (see photo). Since then, they have tolerated 90 degrees F with 99% humidity no problems (same conditions killed the display on the other unit I tried). These passed the salt calibration test, and for the money I couldn’t be happier. Easy to use, straightforward durable design, performs every function I ask of it.

These seem to be the most accurate, but they don’t last long about 6 to 8 months.
I have used many moisture meters and temperature meters, and have not been happy with most of them. These meters last from about 6 to 8 months on the battery that’s in them. Changing the battery for me has not worked. So I buy boxes of multi units, and change the full unit when they go out. When it comes to hermit crabs, the moisture, and the temperature for some of the most important things. I am legally blind, and can still see the moisture number on these units, however, I do need someone to help me read the temperature because it is small.
